My Kerastraight ‘Moisture Boost’ hair treatment at Trevor Sorbie, Covent Garden! Review, first impressions & photos!

Hi guys, how are you all doing? Happy Tuesday!

I know I haven’t done a blogpost in a little while, but I have been concentrating on my YouTube Beauty Channel as filming videos is my passion! You can click here to check it out if you are interested, it’d be great to hear your feedback ๐Ÿ™‚

So last week I was very kindly invited to Kerastraight and Lookfantastic Blogger Event at Trevor Sorbie’s Salon in Covent Garden. It was an absolutely beautiful venue and all the staff including the lovely ladies from Unleashed Potential were really friendly and welcoming.KeraStraight Trevor Sorbie Lookfantastic 2014 - 9796 KeraStraight Trevor Sorbie Lookfantastic 2014 - 9792

There was a Champagne reception as well as some lovely treats going around, which by the way were super tasty and very well presented! ๐Ÿ™‚

I was booked in for the Kerastraight ‘Moisture Boost’ treatment which is specially designedย for people with frizzy, dry, damaged or colour treated hair and promises to renew, repair and rehydrate the hair for up to 30 days, and the awesome thing about this treatment is that it works for any type of hair, curly, fine, thick, straight, wavy, damaged, healthy and the list goes on ๐Ÿ™‚

My lovely stylist Sabrina, started the treatment by washing my hair with a clarifying shampoo, which opens up the hair follicles ready for the moisture mask to be applied onto the hair, section by section in the same way hair dye is applied. My hair was then dried ย and straightened with irons to activate the treatment. Lastly Sabrina washed and blow dried my hair the way I desired. It looked so healthy, shiny and was silky soft! I was so impressed with the results! Even the man himself, the amazing Trevor Sorbie M.B.E, stopped to talk to me and give me compliments on my hair, which was so so kind of him!

Before I left, my stylist Sabrina gave me a goody bag with some of the products that she recommend I use at home, including Kerastraight Moisture Mask, Root Lift Spray Gel, Heat Protection Spray, Ultimate Oil as well as their Carbon Cutting Comb, such a generous goody bag, thank you!

I also wanted to mention that there is another form of intense boost treatment available, called a ‘Protein Boost’, which is most suited for people with weak hair. I was pleased to find out that all the Kerastraight products are available to buy from Salons as well as online at so that you can do the treatment yourself at home.

I’ve washed my hair twice since having the treatment done and I’ve noticed that it feels a lot softer when blowdried, and my ends aren’t feeling as dry. It’s also so much more shiny and less frizzy. It’s definitely something I’d use again, perhaps next time I should try the ‘Protein Boost’ or ‘KS Ultimate’ ๐Ÿ™‚

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank the lovely Sharleen Hunter from Unleashed Potential for inviting me, as well as the rest of the team from Lookfantastic and Kerastraight, also the fabulous stylists at Trevor Sorbie Covent Garden. It was such an amazing event and I feel so lucky to have been a part of it!

Do you guys suffer from brittle or damaged hair? If so I’d definitely recommend giving Kerastraight ‘Intense Boost’ a try ๐Ÿ™‚
