New Urban Decay Naked ‘Smoky’ Palette, review & swatches

Hi guys,

Today I’ve got a rather exiting little review for you of the new Urban Decay Naked ‘Smoky’ palette that recently launched. I love and use all my other three Naked palettes, so when this one came one I was so happy and could not wait to get my hands on it!

Starting off with the packaging … well what can I say, it’s absolutely beautiful, Urban Decay have outdone themselves this time 🙂 I love it! It has twelve gorgeous smoky neutrals, including nine brand new shades and three exclusives. There are mattes, satins and shimmers, it’s all there. Some of my favourites are ‘High’ ‘Dirty Sweet’ ‘Armor’ and ‘Whiskey’ super cool names too 😉

The double ended  (smudger/tapered crease) brush has a nice design, but it’s a bit too hard for my liking, so not great for blending. That would be the only negative thing about this palette, everything else I love. The eyeshadows are lovely, very pigmented, creamy and easy to blend, I’m actually really looking forward to film a makeup look using it. So yea that’s pretty much all I have to say about this beauty, check out the pictures/swatches below and let me know what you think.

The Naked ‘Smoky’ palette retails for £38.00 and you can get it here

I’ve been eyeing this pallete but still haven’t bought it. The colors do look really nice though. Although I’m unsure if it’s worth it if I mostky wear daytime looks. What do you think?

The packaging is absolutely beautiful, but I could never justify spending that much on a palette! I love my Makeup Revolution one and it was only £4!xx

Yes absolutely, just use a eye primer I always do as I have quite oily eyelids and it helps with the eyeshadow creasing 🙂 x
