New Makeup from Glo & Ray! Review & First Impressions!

Hi guys,

Today I want to share with you some new makeup from a brand I’ve never tried before – Glo & Ray* I’m always on the lookout for new brands and products to try, and I have to say I’m really quite impressed with this one! I received a selection of products I picked myself from their website. Glo & Ray is a British company which draws inspiration from the natural wonder of light. The name Glo & Ray is derived from ‘Glo’, a gentle luminance; and ‘Ray’, a vibrant beam of light. Their range of British made cosmetics complements every woman’s unique look, uniting the radiant elegance of light with both grace and femininity, which I find very interesting and inspiring!

So let’s start off with the lipstick, I picked a lovely nude/pink shade in ‘Venus 610’ as I’ve been wearing a nude lip quite a lot lately. This lipstick goes on creamy and dries matte, I do like the consistency of it and the colour is very natural, not too nude/pale. It retails for £12.00 here’s a link.

Then I have the eyeshadow quad in ‘Violet Emotion 400’ with really lovely purples and greys, which will be perfect for the upcoming autumn season. They swatched lovely, quite creamy and blendable and I can’t wait to try them on my eyes. The packaging is also nice, sturdy and sleek. The quad retails for £12.50 here

Next I picked up this gorgeous blush, It’s a coral/pink shade with some subtle shimmer, it looks very natural and I feel like it would be perfect for any season, as it brightens the face and gives such a nice colour/sheen to the cheeks. I have the shade ‘Evening Glow 505’ It also comes with a little travel size brush, you can pick it up here for £11.00

Lastly I have the Lumincent Translucent setting powder, which is probably my most favourite product out of the bunch 🙂 It’s not just your standard setting powder, it is very finely milled and sets my makeup beautifully. It also gives a lovely glow to the face as it has micro-shine particles which give a very natural subtle glow. It retails for £18 and you can get it here
