My Christmas Stationery Craft Challenge! Easy DIY Gold Glitter Star decoration!

Hi guys Happy Monday! I hope you are well and you had a fabulous weekend!

There are less then two weeks till Christmas and I’m starting to feel super duper festive…. so I have a slightly different post for you today 🙂

I was challenged to get creative this Christmas and make my very own stationery Christmas decoration suitable for any home or office and share it with you guys! I think it’s a great opportunity to kick-start that creative flair within me, and get exited for the festive season with this fun DIY project. To be honest I’m not the most creative person in the world, but I did a little research and came up with this really cute Star decoration that is really easy to recreate and I hope you guys like it 🙂

So I purchased most of the materials from Viking Direct* and I will link them below but you can also get them from many other craft stores, even Amazon or Ebay.

I got a pack of Metallic Gold Card, a selection of Glitter Sheets, some loose Glitter, a piece of Festive Ribbon, some rustic Twine, a couple of Pinecones and … thats pretty much it 🙂 You will also need a pair of scissors, a pencil, paper glue and some Sticky Fixers.

I started of by cutting a star out of the gold card, and then cutting another smaller star from the glitter paper to stick over the top to create a 3d look. I then made two bows using the ribbon and twine and attached with sticky fixers.

Such an easy and lovely decoration if I may say so myself 🙂 A great little DIY activity that you can do with friends and family or even your children.

Who doesn’t love a bit of crafts at Christmas! You can read a little bit more about the #ChristmasCraftChallenge campaign here

Have a wonderful day! xo
