Good Morning everyone and Happy Tuesday!
Today I’d like to share with you a new haircare range from L’Oreal Elvive that I’m currently loving. If you’ve been following me for a while you would know my love for haircare products and that I’m always on the lookout for the new best thing 🙂 Well, last Wednesday I was very kindly invited to L’Oreal’s Pop Up event on Bateman Street with a group of other bloggers to have a complimentary blow dry and try the brand new Extraordinary Clay range. It consists of four products, a Pre-Shampoo Treatment, Shampoo and Conditioner and a Dry Shampoo all targeting oily roots and dry ends.
So my hairstylist started off by applying a generous amount of the Clay-to-Mask Pre-Shampoo Treatment (£5.99) to my dry hair and scalp/roots, whilst massaging it in. It contains 30% Pure Clay which helps to absorb any impurities and oils and thoroughly cleanse your scalp. She left it on for a about 10 minutes and then rinsed off, it was so nice and refreshing and didn’t irritate my sensitive scalp at all, in fact quite the opposite it felt really soothing.
Then she washed my hair with the Re-Balancing Shampoo (£2.99), which is also designed for oily roots and dry ends and has that same lovely scent. It felt really creamy and soft on my hair, and lathered up very nicely. It also contains 3 Pure Clays but it didn’t feel drying at all. Following up with the Conditioner (£2.99) which has a lovely sorbet texture, my hairstylist applied it to mid lengths and ends and left it on for a few minutes before rinsing it all off. My hair was left super clean, soft and tangle free.
I had a wonderful blow-dry whilst enjoying some light refreshments and reading up all about the range. My hair felt so clean, bouncy and light, I just couldn’t stop touching it and running my fingers through it 🙂 Thanks so much to the girls at L’Oreal for such an amazing treatment!
On my way out I was given a goodie bag with all the products to use at home and I was really exited to try the dry shampoo. I normally wash my hair every two days but even after the third day it was still so clean just a tiny bit oily on my fringe, so I tried the Clay-to-Spray dry shampoo (£3.99), which is a very fine mist and it didn’t leave any powder or residue whatsoever, it also gave me some volume, which is nice as my hair tends to be so flat these days.
So I would definitely recommend the The L’Oreal Elvive Clay Range if you are suffering from oily roots and dry ends like me. It’s so nice not having to wash my hair all the time and I love that fresh feeling on my scalp! The range is now available at your local Superdrug and Boots and they are currently running a promotion, so check them out and let me know what you guys think, as I hope you love the products as much as I do 🙂
Have a wonderful day! xo
