New Sleek Cream Contour Kits / Review

Happy Bank Holiday Monday guys!

I recently attended the launch event for the new Sleek Makeup Cream Contour Kits* and I’m very exited to share my thoughts with you.

There are three shades available-Light, Medium and Dark. Each one comes with six different shades, two highlighting and four contouring. The packaging itself is really nice and sturdy with a big mirror. The colours are really easy to blend with a lovely smooth and creamy consistency, perfect to sculpt enhance and define your features.

I have been using the Medium kit and I have to say I’m absolutely loving it! It takes a little bit of practise to get the hang of it but it really isn’t as hard as you may think 🙂 I must admit I never really knew how to contour with cream products but practise makes perfect and you really don’t have to be a Makeup Artist to use these!

I would start off by applying my base, then will use the lightest shade (shade 1) under my eyes to brighten and conceal. I would also use one of the lighter shades (shade 2) to highlight my nose, forehead and chin. You could use a brush to apply them or your fingers, personally I prefer applying with my finger and then blending it in with a damp Beauty Blender sponge (a cheaper dupe is the Real Techniques Miracle Complexion sponge) It blends so flawlessly it looks amazing!

It’s really up to you which shade you are going to use for your contour, you can also mix them together to get the perfect colour match. I would normally use one of the darker shades (shade 5) to apply to the hollows of my cheeks, top of the forehead and temples. and a slightly lighter shade (shade 4) to contour down each side of my nose. I like using the Real Techniques Duo-Fiber Contour brush or the small Pointed Foundation brush to apply and then blend with the Beauty Blender.

I would highly recommend the Sleek Contour Kits as they are really easy to use, with so many shades to choose from for all the different skin tones. They are also pretty affordable RRP £10.99, launching on the 6th of April and available to purchase online on www.sleekmakeup.com (worldwide delivery) also at Superdrug and Boots.

Have a wonderful evening! xo
