L'Oreal Infallible Sculpt Collection-Base, Eyes & Brows / Review

Happy Thursday my lovelies, I hope you are having a fab week!

L’Oreal recently brought out their Infallible Sculpt Collection* and I’ve been really exited to try all the products and share them with you. The new collection is all about creating the perfect base and sculpting the face including the complexion, eyes, brows and lips. I’ve already done a review on the blushes and the lipsticks, today I will be talking about the base, eye and brow products.

Starting off with the Infallible Sculpt Contouring Base Foundation (RRP £8.99), there are two shades available Light/Medium and Medium/Dark. I have been using the lighter one, which matches me perfectly at the moment. It gives a lovely medium coverage, I like to apply it with my beauty blender for a flawless finish. This foundation has such a lovely consistency and lasts really well on me considering I have combination/oily skin. It really does create the perfect base.

Then we have the Infallible Sculpt Contouring Palette (RRP £9.99), which also comes in two shades- Light/Medium and Medium/Dark. I have the light version again, which has two creamy shades-to highlight and contour with. It’s such a wonderful little palette! The light shade is perfect for highlighting your cheekbones, forehead and chin and the dark shade to contour the hollows of your cheeks, temples and nose. The shades are very creamy and blend super easy. I like the fact the the contour shade is matte and also cool toned and looks very natural. To apply your contour and highlight I would recommend the L’Oreal Dual Ended Sculpting Brush, I don’t have that one so as an alternative I have been using the Real Techniques Duo-Fiber Contour Brush and using my beauty blender to blend any harsh lines.

Another new and very exiting product is the Brow Artist Sculpt Brow Mascara (£8.99) There are two shades available Blonde and Brunette, I have the Brunette one which is too light for me at the moment but I’ve used it on one of my clients and she absolutely loves it. It has a very interesting wand with a little felt tip on the end, which is perfect for drawing and filling in your brows, especially if they are quite sparse like mine. It also has a little bristle brush which is good for running through your brows to set them in place. I do wish they had a darker shade, maybe a dark chocolate or something like that, for people with dark brown/black brows. So if you have blonde or light/medium brown eyebrows this product will be perfect for you.

Last but definitely not least is the False Lash Sculpt Mascara (£7.99), which I have been wearing ever since I got it and it has very quickly become one of my current faves. I’ve always liked L’Oreal Mascaras but this one really is something special. It has a unique wand-a bit like crocodile teeth 🙂 which works as a little comb and reaches right to the root of the lashes to tight-line, separate and lengthen, it really is incredible! It’t super black and really gives you that false lash effect, without looking clumpy. It gives me length, volume and curl. My lashes are pretty rubbish to be perfectly honest and as you can see this mascara really does works wonders!
