Are you wondering which beauty products to splurge on this Spring? Well..today I would like to share with you my Top Picks for the season 🙂
Multitasking Mascara – It’s important to change your mascara very few months so why not try something different, the Rimmel Volume Colourist* (£7.99) is amazing! It gives lashes volume and length it also tints them overtime. My lashes are pretty fair but since I’ve been using this mascara for a couple of weeks, it’s made a real difference-my lashes are so much darker, it’s amazing and pretty affordable too.
A Fresh Pop of Colour – There’s nothing like updating your lip colour to something new and fresh. Rimmel’s new Moisture Renew Sheer & Shine Lipsticks* (£6.49) are perfect for Spring. They have a lovely creamy formula and look great on the lips, very moisturising and comfortable to wear. I have the shades Glow-Rious Pink 200 and Pink Rules 300, two absolutely gorgeous shades. They are also enriched with Vitamins and spf 20, which is a bonus!
Nails to Notice – I love pastels for Spring and the new Barry M Quick Dry Range* (£3.99) is absolutely perfect. There are so many lovely colours to choose from and very affordable too. You can’t go wrong with a nice nude or a baby pink. These are great as they dry super quick, they go on opaque and last really well without chipping. I have the shades Freestyle and Winning Streak.
Invest in your Skincare – I always like to switch up my skincare when the seasons change and I have been using the Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser*(£20.75) in the limited edition fragrance Rose & Cedrat. It’s such a wonderful product perfect for everyday cleanse, suitable for any skin types. It has a lovely fresh floral scent which I find really refreshing. I use it daily to remove my makeup or just give my skin a nice cleanse and freshen up. It’s so gentle but still removes all my makeup and leaves my skin soft and smooth. It comes with a muslin cloth which gives a gentle exfoliation to get rid of any dead skin. I love the fact that this cleanser is really natural and contains cocoa butter and chamomile. An absolutely fantastic cleanser I highly recommend!
Time to Glow – As the spring weather creeps in, my mind has turned to fake tanning and I’m plucking up the courage to show a little skin 😉 My top pick has to be the St Tropez 1 Hour Express Tan* (£33.00). It gives such a natural, golden glow without the horrible scent, mess and sitting for hours waiting for it to develop. I like to apply it with a tanning mitt and leave on for 1 to 2 hours which gives me the perfect light/medium tan. It goes on streak free and lasts really well (at least a week) without going patchy, I absolutely love it!
