Kiko Milano 'New Trend Collection' review

Happy Friday loves!

I recently attended a blogger event for the preview of Kiko Milano’s new limited edition ‘New Trend Collection’. The event was amazing, we got to try, swatch and photograph the new products which are absolutely stunning and I’m very exited to share them with you in today’s post.

But first, let me tell you a little bit about the collection itself. Kiko Milano collaborated with world – renowned futurist designer Ross Lovegrove to design the packaging of the products. He was inspired by the desire to travel and explore unique sun-kissed landscapes and irresistible beauty with an overwhelming personality. I think that he’s done such an amazing job – the packaging is really elegant and beautiful but still very practical. The collection includes cream and powder foundations, the brand new DD creams, bronzer, blush and highlighters, eyeshadow, eyeliner and mascara, lipsticks and lip oils… there are so many fabulous products, there really is something for everyone. There are also a couple of gorgeous makeup brushes and a clutch/makeup bag which looks beautiful. You can probably already tell that I’m absolutely obsessed with this collection!

So today I want to share with you a selection of products that I have been testing out at home for the past few days. Starting off with one of my favourites – Desert Dunes Baked Bronzer* (£22.90) I have the lighter shade Warm Melange 200, which is perfect for my complexion, it’s ultra fine and easy to blend, great for warming up the face or adding a bit of contour. This bronzer looks so natural and beautiful and you get so much product! It’s also enriched with  jojoba oil and has a lovely soft vanilla fragrance.

Then we have Desert Dunes Trio Baked Blush* (£16.90) I have Lust Coral 01 which is so pretty. I like mixing all the shades and applying it to my cheeks, it gives such a lovely healthy glow to the skin. The powder is soft and easy to blend and I just love baked products they give such a natural look. This blush also highlights and brightens the skin and gives a very youthful appearance, it’s sunning!

I have Sunshine Powder Foundation SPF 20* (£15.90) in the shade Light 200, it’s very fine powder which gives a lovely light coverage, you can also apply it with a damp sponge (included) for more of a medium coverage. It’s ideal for normal to combination skin and it tends to keep me matte for a good few hours before having to blot. It’s good for the summer months when you don’t want too much product on your skin, it looks really natural. It comes in four different shades Light, Natural, Medium and Fair.

There are a few eye products available in the collection – In the Shade Eyeshadow and Kajal* (£9.90) is a dual ended pencil with two different products on each side which go together really well. You can apply the eyeshadow all over the lid and then use the kajal on the top or bottom lash line. You can actually use your fingers to blend the eyeshadow or smudge the kajal if you wanted to create an easy smokey eye. It lasts really well and doesn’t budge. There are six shades available I have Number 3 Turquoise & Pearly Brown also Number 4 Emerald & Petrol Green absolutely gorgeous colours!

Endless Sky Volume Effect Mascara* (£10.90) is really good, it gives my lashes a lot of volume and length it also separates. It claims to cover the lashes with a special film that preserves their delicate structure which is really interesting. I like the shape of the brush it has a mix of different fibres which really separate and lengthen the lashes. And the packaging is just beautiful!

Free Spirit Lips & Cheeks* (£9.90) is a multi – purpose crayon that you can use on your lips as well as cheeks as a pop of blush. It’s soft and creamy and very easy to blend, it also comes with a pencil sharpener which is really handy. There are six shades available all beautiful, the one I have is Compass Pink 106, which is a really summery pink/coral shade I absolutely love it! Such a great multi – purpose product.

Mirage Lip Stylo* (£10.90) is a lovely lipstick, I love the packaging with magnetic closure design it’s so unique. It’s enriched with waxes and pigment so it’s a lipstick but has a lovely glossy shine. It’s creamy and long lasting with great pigmentation. There are 8 shades available I have Fired Earth Pink 03 and Bohemian Sienna 14 and I definitely need to pick up more shades as I absolutely love the formula.

Another fab products is the Heatwave Lip Oil* (£10.90) – a gorgeous glossy lip oil treatment that nourishes and hydrates your lips and is perfect to wear on its own or over a lipstick. It feels so lovely on and has a very delicate vanilla fragrance. I have 02 it’s available in three different shades. It’s perfect if you suffer with very dry lips like me.

There are two makeup brushes available in the collection – Face Brush* (£16.90) which is the one I have, it’s a kabuki brush great for applying baked face powders or powder foundation. It’s super soft and cruelty free it looks so pretty standing on my dressing table 🙂 There’s also the Foundation Face Brush (£14.90) which is a flat foundation brush perfect for applying your liquid and cream face products.

Last but not least is the most gorgeous Clutch* (£16.90) which can be used as a makeup bag or a purse. It looks really elegant and sophisticated it’s also quite spacious – ideal for keeping your makeup in!

So I would highly recommend Kiko Milano‘s new summer collection – such stunning products at a very affordable price. I’d love to know your thought on the collection, what is your favourite product?

Have an amazing day! xo
