Soap & Glory recently brought out some new Sexy Mother Pucker lipsticks* I believe they have repackaged them and also added quite a few new shades to the already existing range. I actually own a few of the original lippies and I’ve wore them to death, their formula is lovely. When I heard that they’re bringing out 24 new shades, I was really excited to try them out!
First lets take a look at the beautiful new metallic packaging, isn’t it fab! There are 3 shade ranges and each one has its own colour, so the nudes come in a golden tube, the pinks in a light metallic pink tube and the reds in a beautiful deep red. You all know that I’m a sucker for packaging, so it definitely gets a big thumbs up from me 🙂
There are so many gorgeous shades available, the ones I have to show you are Keep It Flesh, Pinkini and You Say Tomato.
Keep It Flesh is a lovely nude, it’s light but not too light so it doesn’t wash me out. It suits my skin tone well and it’s a very easy shade to wear as it goes with so many makeup looks. A good nude lipstick would always be a staple in my collection.
Pinkini is a classic mid-tone pink that I think will easily suit any skin tone. It’s not too bright so can be worn sheerly for a flush of colour or you can build it up for a more intense look. I love a pink lipstick and I’m sure I’ll be wearing it a lot this season.
You Say Tomato is a gorgeous coral shade, it really compliments a summer tan and looks great on my complexion. I love coral and orange for summer and I look forward to wearing it on a night out with a nice bronze smokey eye 🙂
All three of these lipsticks have a satin finish which is personally my favourite kind of finish. They give a good amount of colour pay off, feel very comfortable on the lips and are quite moisturising. There is also a choice of matte and high shine finishes which I’m looking forward to try next.
Another thing I like about these lipsticks is the lovely scent, they smell like vanilla but not too sweet just really fresh and yummy, I’m not very good at describing scents, but these smell lovely, just take my word for it 🙂 The staying power is also pretty good, I would say good few hours before having to reapply.
If you’ve tried any of the new Mother Pucker lipsticks then let me know what shades you’ve been loving and I’ll be sure to try them out. They retail for £9.00 and you can get them here
I hope you are having a lovely Saturday,
