Happy Wednesday beauties!
Today I have for you some skincare favourites that I have really been enjoying and I’m exited to share them with you as they have been working wonders for my skin.
Starting off with the Caudalie Make-up removing Cleansing Oil* I really love using oils and cleansing balms to remove my makeup and this product is just wonderful. It’s very gentle, yet so good at removing makeup, even waterproof mascara. It’s very nourishing but not greasy and good for sensitive skin, it smells really lovely too. I look forward to using it every night to cleanse my skin, I warm 2-3 pumps between my palms and massage onto dry skin, then emulsify with a little water and rinse off. I love french skincare, they really know their stuff and Caudalie is one of my favourite brands, I love the fact that their product are very natural and good for your skin, this oil for example is 100% natural and contains Grape and Sweet Almond. It retails for £18 here
Another product that I have recently discovered and absolutely fell in love with is the Pixi Glow Tonic* I have heard so many rave reviews about this product but for some reason never really tried it until now. So it’s basically an exfoliating toner which contains 5% Glycolic Acid, which works wonders for my skin. I like to apply a little bit on a cotton pad and wipe my face after cleansing to tone and refresh. It does such a great job on evening out my skin tone, it’s brightening and gives me a healthy radiant glow. It gently exfoliates by removing dead skin cells and makes my face so soft and smooth. I highly recommend this product, it really is pretty amazing! It retails for £18 here
Another brand that I’ve recently discovered is Jurlique and I have been loving their Rosewater Balancing Mist* This product is like ‘Heaven’ in a bottle! It smells divine, I love Rose scents and this is a beautiful one without being too strong, just so natural and fresh. I use this every single day, quite a few times a day actually 🙂 When I wake up in the morning – to refresh my skin, before and after makeup and also in the evening, I’ve been going through it like crazy that’s how much I love it! It’s such a luxury product, the packaging itself is beautiful, very simple and classy. It’s just a wonderful face mist packed full of natural ingredients to tone, hydrate and balance your skin. It retails for £24 here
Because I work from home, I very rarely wear makeup during the day but I still like to have a proper skincare routine and I have really been enjoying the Kiehl’s Daily Reviving Concentrate* which is a lovely face oil full of amazing natural ingredients, including Ginger root, Sunflower and Tamanu Oils to help skin feel energized, look radiant and youthful. I have combination/oily skin but I can still use this product, it doesn’t make me too oily or shiny, it’s lightweight and absorbs pretty quickly. I’ve noticed this also helps with fatigue, dullness and the little fine lines, I love using it on days when I’m working from home, it’s so nice to give my skin a break from makeup. Kiehl’s is another favourite brand of mine that I would highly recommend, I use and love so many of their products. The Daily Reviving Concentrate retails for £37 here
Last month I went to the launch of the new La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo Unifiant* and I have been using it a lot since. You are probably familiar with the original Effaclar Duo that everyone used to rave about, well now they have brought out a tinted version, a bit like a tinted moisturiser which is the perfect product for summer. If like me you suffer with spots, blocked pores, blemishes and dark marks this is the product for you. It’s great for oily and acne-prone skin. I have been using it instead of my foundation, it’s quite good at keeping me matte throughout the day and really helps fight any breakouts that I have as well as those little black and white heads/bumps which can be quite difficult to get rid of. I believe this comes in a couple of shades (light and medium) but it is pretty universal, I have medium, which is a perfect match for me at the moment, and you could always apply some foundation/concealer over it to make it blend better. This is such a great product and it really does work! It retails for £16.50 here
For my night moisturiser I have been enjoying the Pixi Beauty Sleep Cream* which has a lovely buttery texture, it’s very nourishing but fast absorbing and non-greasy. It’s a lovely rich cream which contains mango butter, lavender, lemon and bergamot oil – very gentle and soothing natural ingredients. I have been waking up in the morning with really soft, plump skin and I think it’s thanks to this, I love it! It retails for £24 here
Last but definitely not least is my eye cream and I’m currently loving Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Eye* it’s a night cream, but I use it in the day as well, it’s not too heavy or anything and sits really well under my makeup. It’s a beautiful moisturiser, very soft and gentle on my eye area, sinks in straight away, smooths out darkness and helps with fine lines. It has a concentrate of Essential Oils and Botanicals, which are so beneficial for your skin. It retails for £25.50 here
