I was recently sent the New Eylure Brow Range* to try – a selection of brow grooming products to help achieve the perfect brows at home. I don’t have the thickest brows, in fact they are quite sparse and uneven, so I’m always looking to try new products, hoping to find my holy grail.
Firstly we have the Eylure Brow Contour in mid brown, which is a double ended chubby pencil – one side being the brow shade and the other – a highlighter. I really like this product as it’s quite dry rather then waxy and the shade is a great match for me. This pencil is perfect for shaping your brows and filling them in and then highlighting the brow bone. The Brow Contour pencil is so quick and easy to use, which makes it great for on the go, I have been taking it in my handbag and doing my brows on the tube 🙂 Another great thing about it is its longevity, it really lasts all day, it’s waterproof and does not budge!
Over the brow pencil I like to add the Brow Amplifier (also in mid brown) which really reminds me of Benefit Gimme Brow. It’s basically a little tinted fibre gel that is great for people with sparse or thin brows trying to make them appear fuller/thicker. I like this product but you have to be careful as it can be a bit messy, a tiny amount goes a long way as it is quite pigmented and you really don’t need much. It has a little tiny wand, which is still a bit too big for my sparse brows but I like to use it to set them in place.
Lastly we have another favourite – Eylure Brow Pomade, which again really reminds me of Anastasia Beverly Hills and Benefit KA Brow. Absolutely fantastic product, very creamy and pigmented, also waterproof so it will stay put all day. I like to apply it with the Eylure Brow Duo Brush & Wand, which is great for grooming and defining.
Overall, I’m very impressed with the quality of the products – they are very reasonably priced and easy to get hold off from Boots.
