New Urban Decay XX Vice Ltd Reloaded / review & swatches

Happy Monday beauties!

Today I have a very exiting product that I have been dying to talk about. One of my absolute favourite brands Urban Decay have brought out a new edition to the VICE family – XX Vice Ltd Reloaded*. This palette is limited edition and exclusive to Debenhams so I’d be quick if you want to get your hands on it, as it will sell out pretty quickly. It features 20 beautiful shades from vintage, to must-haves, to current collection which makes it a collectible! So many gorgeous new shades and some of my old favourites, it really is a stunning palette and one to invest in.

The launch of this palette also celebrates Urban Decay’s 20th Anniversary, which is absolutely amazing! Twenty years of fabulousness I’m sure you would agree!! The actual design of the palette is really cool, it’s a sleek black case with a purple jewelled UD icon absolutely stunning, it has a large mirror and comes with a double-ended brush. It’s the kind of palette that anybody can use, it’s great if you want to experiment with colour and do a smokey eye or just play it neutral for everyday. Also this is the first time several of the shades are available in the new, revamped shadow formula which features a Pigment Infusion System – a blend of ingredients that give every shade a velvet texture, rich colour, blendability an staying power.

Here’s a list of all the shades;

Suspend – greige-brown matte
Oil Slick – black matte with silver micro-glitter
Roadstripe – iridescent white with blue-violet shift
Gash – metallic brick red
Midnight Cowboy – pink champagne shimmer with silver glitter)
501 – deep metallic blue with copper micro-glitter
Shallow – pale taupe-silver satin
Laced – pinky-taupe matte
Hot Pants – pearly medium pink
Mildew – deep metallic green shimmer
Smog – deep coppery bronze shimmer
Misdemeanor – deep olive green matte with green micro-shimmer
Freakshow – bright purple satin
Asphyxia – hyacinth shimmer with blue shift
Acid Rain – pale yellow-green shimmer with green shift
Moonflower – metallic rose-gold with gold micro-shimmer
UV-B – bright blue with violet shift
Goldmine – bright metallic gold
Twice Baked – rich brown satin with gold micro-glitter
Anonymous – pale peachy cream matte

First impressions; I love using this palette, it’s very wearable and you can create so many lovely day looks, smokey eye for a night out, experiment with colour etc. I was also impressed with the longevity of the shadows, they lasted all day without creasing or fading and I didn’t even use an eye primer, yes, Amazing! I don’t really have any pictures of the look I created that day but I’m planning to film a YouTube tutorial using this palette as well as the new Moondust one, so make sure you subscribe to my channel so you don’t miss it. I will try to film that in the next week or so for you.

The Urban Decay XX Vice Ltd Reloaded is available to purchase exclusively at Debenhams as well as for and retails £43.

What do you think of this palette? I’d love to hear your thoughts,  Victoria xo

Great Post, Urban Decays’ palettes usually are very pigmented, if I’m going to get an eyeshadow, it’s going to be from them.😍😍💕
