New from L'Oreal Paris / Haircare edition / Fibrology Air & Colour-Protect

I recently went to a L’Oreal Paris event for the launch of some new haircare, which I want to share with you in todays post. I’ve always been a fan of L’Oreal’s hair products as they work really well for me and they are also really affordable.

So I’m really exited about this range – the L’Oreal Elvive Fibrology Air, which is an improved version of their already existing Fibrology range which I love. If you, like myself suffer with thin or flat hair this is the range for you. I have been experiencing a bit of hair loss recently, and my hair is naturally quite fine and very straight which doesn’t help but since using these products I have honestly seen such great instant results. The shampoo (Volumising Thickening Shampoo* £2.89 for 250ml) really helps to cleanse and purify your roots and give them a boost and I don’t quite know how it works but every time I use it my hair appears thicker and fuller. This clear shampoo has a weightless formula which contains an ingredient called Filloxane which basically penetrates the hair fibre and expands.

The conditioner (Volumising Thickening Conditioner* £2.89 for 250ml) is really nice as well it’s actually a clear gel as opposed to a cream, but it does condition really well and makes my hair very soft and tangle free. It keeps it moisturised without leaving any heavy residue. My hair always feels nourished and smooth and smells lovely. There is also a Root-Lifting Dry Shampoo* (£3.99) which is brilliant, I’m normally a Batiste girl but this one is just as good at cleansing my hair, getting rid of any oils and giving me a bit of texture and volume without any powder residue.

Another new launch from L’Oreal is their Colour Protect Day Cream Leave-in Conditioner* (£6.99) I really like this product and have been using it a lot since I have a colour treated/highlighted hair, it helps to  maintain and protect your colour and really does nourish and smooth any dry/split ends. It also smells delicious which is a bonus 🙂 I like adding it to my hair as a last step after washing, a little goes a long way.

There’s a Colour Protect Shampoo & Conditioner* (£2.89 each) in this range, which also contain the same active ingredient – Linseed Elixir which basically works by forming a hydrophobic envelope to seal the colourants inside the fiber, which therefore stops your colour from washing out and fading, quite clever really 🙂 well done L’Oreal. This range is also very affordable and now available to purchase at your local drugstore here

So there you have it, some fab new hair products I’m currently loving, what are your favourites? Please share in the comments below, as I’d love to know.

I hope you are having a lovely week guys,  Victoria xo

I’ll have to check out the Fibrology Air range, my hair is constantly moulting after a shower and if I manage to get some volume, it normally drops after an hour or so! Danielle

aww I know how you feel, it’s hate seeing my hair falling out all the time, it’s quite depressing. This shampoo has been helping with the volume and body, I’m also taking Biotin and Viviscal hair supplements, I hope that helps sweetie xx
