I was very excited to hear about Vichy’s new skincare line as I love their products and french skincare in general. There are three new face masks available, each containing Vichy’s Mineralising Thermal Water and a bunch of other natural ingredients. The one that I have been testing out is the Quenching Mineral Mask* (there’s also a Pore Purifying Clay mask and Double Glow Peeling mask)
I love moisture masks in general and this one here is a really good one. My skin has been looking a bit dull and stressed out with the weather changes and dry, cold winds so this mask has really helped me bring some life back to my skin 🙂 quite literally! It feels so cool and refreshing when you first apply it, I’d normally leave it on for about 5-10 mins, massage in and rinse off. I like using it in the evening before bed as it makes my skin really soft and nourished, you could also wear a thin layer overnight, which will really give you that boost of moisture.
This mask is great for people who suffer with very dry/dehydrated and sensitive skin, my skin is more combination/oily but it still works really well for me. It’s fresh and soothing enriched with Vitamins and Minerals, without any harsh chemicals or Parabens. (available here £14)
Now for the Vichy Purete Thermala 3 in 1 Cleansing Micellar Solution* this is a pretty unique product as it’s a cleansing water, toner and makeup remover in one! I love using it in the morning to refresh my skin and remove any oils or impurities, you could also use it in the evening as a first step to remove the bulk of your makeup.
It’s great for sensitive skin, it does not irritate my eyes and does a pretty good job on removing my makeup. I’d say it’s quite similar to my Bioderma cleansing water (the one for sensitive skin) It doesn’t contain any parabens, it’s very gentle and soothing (available here £12)
I hope you find this review helpful and as always you can leave any skincare related questions in the comments below. I will soon be sharing my updated skincare routine so make sure you stay tuned for that if you’re interested.
Thanks so much for reading and Happy Friday! Victoria xo
