If you know anything at all about me you know I love Halloween 🙂 It’s my favorite time of the year! Well, Autumn in general is such a beautiful time of year and totally my season.
So I decided to create this easy Glam Cat Halloween look, that anyone can do with a few simple steps. I wanted to use some favourite products from Urban Decay but if you don’t have them feel free to use anything similar. Urban Decay have recently brought out so many fab products so I wanted to incorporate some of them into this look. I decided to create this Glam Cat look (it could also be a mouse) and honestly it’s so easy and super cute.
Step 1: I wanted to have flawless skin for this look so I used the new Urban Decay All Nighter foundation (shade 5.0) as it is pretty full coverage and really does make your skin look perfect. I used the Naked Skin Concealer (shade light/warm) to highlight middle of my forehead, nose, cupids bow, chin and under the eyes and then set with translucent powder.
Step 2: I didn’t have a brow product from Urban Decay so I decided to use a matte eyeshadow and a brush to fill them in, the shade ‘Lockout’ from the new Naked Ultimate Basics palette is the perfect medium brown colour. I wanted them to look bushy and a little bit messy as that suited the look really well, so I used the Urban Decay Razor Sharp liquid liner to draw some hairs and accentuate them a little.
Step 3: I used Urban Decay Beached Bronzer (shade Sun-Kissed) to contour and warm up my face and for highlight – Afterglow highlighter in Aura, such a gorgeous pinky highlight which doubles up as a blush and really makes your cheekbones pop.
Step 4: Onto the eyes, I started off by applying the Urban Decay Original Primer Potion all over my lids and then from Urban Decay ‘Smoky’ Palette I used shade ‘Combust’ all over my eyelids as a base colour. Apply shade ‘Thirteen’ to highlight the brow bone and inner corner, then ‘Whiskey’ into the crease and outer V and ‘High’ onto the lids, which gave a lovely shimmery finish. Smoke out the bottom lash line with shade ‘Radar’ and blend, blend, blend! 🙂
Apply a liquid liner to create that dramatic feline flick – I used Razor Sharp Liquid Eyeliner in ‘Demolition’ (black/brown) Then finish off the eyes with a few coats of Urban Decay Perversion Mascara and apply false lashes (optional) I used Eylure Enchanted ‘Queen of Night’ which are absolutely gorgeous and very glam!
Step 5: Apply your lippie, I used Urban Decay ‘Perversion’ Vice lipstick and to complete my cat look I drew a nose using the same Razor Sharp Liquid Eyeliner (any black liner will also do) You can even draw some whiskers if you want 🙂
So there you have it, you can accessorise with a pair of cat/mouse ears, I got this little lace headband from Asos. What sort of look are you gonna wear this Halloween?
Happy Halloween loves! Have a safe one! Victoria xo
