Urban Decay Full Spectrum Palette / review & swatches

If you love bright and fun colours, then this palette is for you! The new Limited Edition Urban Decay Full Spectrum palette* features 21 shades from bold brights to matte white. Keep on reading to find out more.

There’s a big variety of finishes in the palette – matte, shimmery, metallic, satin and sparkly, I like how the shadows are organised by colour, creating a rainbow of ombre trios, so pretty to look at! You can create so many different looks with this palette, I love experimenting with colours and this palette has such a huge variety. Do I even need to mention how pigmented these shades are – super high quality and a dream to work with. If you can swatch the Full Spectrum palette in store, make sure to try several colours and see for yourself. To be honest even if you are not a fan of colourful palettes, I think you would still like this one as it has some really wearable shades. There are so many different eye looks you can create with it and I’m really exited to experiment! 🙂

Now let’s take a look at the packaging, it really is stunning! The sleek black case is very glamorous, it features tonal lines which alternate from matte to shinny and a gorgeous rainbow coloured UD jewel. The palette has a huge mirror and comes with a lovely double-ended brush.

I’d normally use an eyeshadow primer as I have slightly oily lids but these shadows don’t crease much at all even without wearing a primer. They are soft and velvety, really easy to blend and last really well without fading.

What else can I tell you… I adore this palette! It’s a gorgeous collectable piece and I have it displayed in my makeup cabinet as it’s just so pretty to look at 🙂
