New Lancome L'Absolu Rouge Lipsticks / review & swatches

Today I want to share with you these beautiful lipsticks from Lancome, if you remember the L’Absolu Rouge range, it’s all been discontinued and redesigned by Lisa Eldridge, the brands creative director and makeup artist. I’m so in love with the new packaging, it’s absolutely beautiful! The collection includes 36 gorgeous shades in three different finishes – sheer, matte and cream and I have one of each to share with you in todays post.

Starting with the packaging, it’s super sleek and classy – a black tube with a golden rose at the tip, which you click to reveal the lipstick! I’m obsessed with pretty packaging and this one really is pretty fabulous and very luxury.

I like all the different finishes, the sheer texture is lovely and moisturising but still gives enough colour pay off, perfect for every day wear. The matte is bold but not drying at all and very comfortable, the cream is kind of in between and probably my favourite finish. I love the shades that I have, all absolutely beautiful.

I’ve worn them so much already especially the red, it’s such a classic shade and very sophisticated, perfect for the festive season. See swatches below, from left to right – 202 Nuit & Jour (nude-sheer) 393 Rose (pink-matte) 132 Caprice (red-cream)
