London Fashion Week loads on the pressure when it comes to dressing because as much as we like observing the trends, we all like to dress up for the part too and look fabulous 🙂 You want to do some street style snapping, get some great images for your blog, but deal with the rain, public transport, getting lost in the city, and making it to every show on your schedule… pretty impossible if you ask me!

This season I wanted to wear something slightly more colourful, more fun, as opposed to my usual style. As much as I wanted to keep it all simple and neutral, with spring just around the corner I wanted to incorporate some bright colours and statement pieces into my outfits. One trend I’m absolutely loving at the moment is the embroidery, I feel it can make your outfit really come to life.

I absolutely fell in love with this navy floral embroidered sweatshirt from Whistles, Very Exclusive it’s so beautiful and feminine and it really brightens up my look (day 1) Another piece I’m completely obsessed with is this oversized denim jacket from Next, it’s really fun and girly and the embellishments on the back can really add some interest to a more casual outfit. (day 2)

I enjoyed putting all the pieces together to create outfits that were practical but still quite smart, without compromising my personal style. I enjoyed mixing Designer and High Street as well, the trick is to find a few key High End pieces to build your outfit on, as you only need one designer piece to provide the illusion of a high end wardrobe. It is important to invest in timeless pieces as well, which can last more than one season.

All the pieces I wore are linked below, enjoy 🙂
