Luxury Skincare worth investing in / Charlotte Tilbury

If you’ve been reading my blog for any length of time, you’ll know that I love a mixture of drugstore and high-end skincare — I truly believe you can find great beauty products at any price point. Today I will be sharing some products that are worth the extra investment — they’re just that good and in my opinion their price tag is totally justified!

Many of us tend to forget about skincare when distracted by the glamor of makeup, but it’s so important to realise that the makeup that is applied will only look as beautiful as the skin underneath. Therefore, if you’re looking to create the best version of yourself, the skincare aisle is the place to start 🙂

We all want a little taste of luxury when it comes to our beauty routine and there’s nothing wrong with spending a little more on something that works wonders, so I’m very exited to share with you some Charlotte Tilbury products I have been testing out and have fallen in love with!

A luxury beauty routine is not just good for the beauty it brings us, but also for the psychological benefits, it’s for the eyes, which will enjoy looking at the beautiful packaging, as well as for the skin of course. Charlotte Tilbury skincare products are part of a magical, opulent ritual which will make you feel like you are on a spa visit every morning and every night, anytime you apply them and here are some of my favourites.

Charlotte’s Magic Cream* – A secret mix of anti-ageing ingredients, packaged in a gorgeous vintage style pot with a rose gold lid. The cream itself is very moisturising but settles into the skin without leaving any greasiness, giving a light dewy finish, which I love. It’s great for sensitive skin and creates a lovely base for your makeup.

I’ve received lots of compliments recently about my makeup but I actually think it’s largely down to this cream. Although it is on the pricey side, I think it is definitely worth the investment. I’ve been using it now for about a months and am still only half way through the pot. It gives my skin a lovely natural glow, it also contains SPF which is a bonus.

Magic Night Cream* – A really rich luxurious night cream to nourish your skin while you’re sleeping. It’s very thick and creamy, it can be slightly heavy if you apply too much, so you really only need a tiny amount.

It’s perfect if you have dehydrated skin or any dry patches, I like to apply it early in the evening to let it sink in before going to bed. My skin is always so plump and fresh when I wake up in the morning, it’s like an overnight hydrating mask!

Magic Eye Rescue* –  A rich eye moisturiser which is really refreshing and hydrating. You only have to apply a tiny amount, a little goes a long way. I’ve noticed a difference in my under-eye concealer when using this product underneath first, my concealer no longer dries out and creases which is really nice. I don’t really get eye bags but I do suffer with dark circles and this definitely seems to be helping.

Multy Miracle Glow* – This product can be used in a few different ways, either as a cleanser, a mask or a balm, it comes in a large pot so it will last ages. It’s like a gel but is very light on the skin and absorbs nicely.

I use it mostly as a cleanser to remove my makeup at the end of the day and it leaves my skin lovely and soft. It smells absolutely divine, it’s such a gorgeous product to have on display in my bathroom – a real treat to use at the end of the day and for the size of the pot I think it’s great value for money.

Goddess Skin Clay Mask* – This mask is based on an ancient Mediterranean beauty recipe, which combines nutrient-rich Spanish clay with Sweet Almond Oil. I love a good clay mask to cleanse my pores and clear up my skin and unlike other clay masks this one does not dry out and harden, which I really like as it’s very easy to remove and less messy. I use it a couple of times a week and my skin looks so fresh and clean.

Revolutionary Instant Magic Facial Dry Sheet Mask* – It features ingredients to help reduce wrinkles, smooth, brighten, lift and hydrate your skin in just 15 minutes! It’s so interesting because the mask is dry as the textile fabric has already been impregnated with vitamins, floral extracts, peptides, oils and butters – which are delivered directly into the third layer of the epidermis.

It’s a very unique sheet mask is like nothing I’ve tried before! Because it isn’t a wet formula, it doesn’t harbour bacteria, so you can use this up to 3 times. I’ve already used it twice and I love the results. My skin always looks fresh and hydrated after using it.

Supermodel Body* – A gorgeous shimmery product to help firm your skin and sculpt your body contours. It has a roll on metal applicator which makes it really easy to highlight down the centre of legs and arms. It’s an ideal product to have on holiday to apply in the evenings or if you are going out on a date night. It’s perfect for any special occasion or a photoshoot as well. It makes my legs and décolletage area look amazing!

So there you have it, some of my favourite Charlotte Tilbury skincare products, I would highly recommend investing in if you have the budget.

What are your current favourites?

I totally agree, a good skincare routine will allow your makeup to work its best for sure. These products look and sound so lovely, I am loving the idea of the Dry Sheet Mask.
