As most of you probably know Lancôme released their Juicy Shakers about a year ago and so many of us fell in love with the pretty fun packaging and lovely nourishing formula, although not everyone liked the sheer pigmentation of the product, so today I’m very exited to introduce you the new Lancôme Matte Shaker Liquid Lipstick*
The pigmentation of these is absolutely amazing, they’re so opaque and bold I love them! Although they are a matte product, they’re not uncomfortable or drying on the lips, in fact quite the opposite – very creamy and nourishing. They are eat proof, drink proof and kiss proof, once set they don’t transfer and last all day!
There are seven shades available, I have four of them – Yummy Pink, Magic Orange, Pink Power and Kiss Me Cherie super cute names as well 🙂 The shade I have on in the picture below is Pink Power which I’d describe as a raspberry pink and I absolutely love it, I’ve been wearing it so much ever since I got it. It screams spring and I bet it would go perfect with a beautiful summer tan too.
The little cushion applicator is very nice and super easy to use, I like to give it a good shake and then dab the product on my lips for that full coverage statement pout! The ability to mix-and-match these is a huge bonus as well. They look amazing either layered on or with an ombré effect like in the photo below.
This gorgeous Ombré lip was created by the lovely and very talented Fortunato Benavoli who is Lancôme’s Elite Team makeup artist, I’ve had the pleasure of working with him a couple of times and I have to say he is pretty amazing! I will definitely try and recreate this ombré look as I think it looks beautiful, it’s a mix of Pink Power and Magic Orange.
Just how fun are these vibrant colours – perfect for spring and summer. I literally can’t wait to take them on holiday with me, definitely a beach bag essential.
The Lancôme Matte Shaker Liquid Lipsticks are £19.50 exclusively available here at Selfridges until 26th April when they go nationwide.
Thanks so much for reading, Happy Monday!
