A Pretty Neutral Spring Look, using The Estée Edit

When it comes to Spring makeup, it’s all about dewy skin, bright eyes and neutral lips. As much as I love dark, vampy Winter looks, I’m so over them now and I am all for the minimal, less-is-more look for Spring.

If you haven’t found your signature Spring look, I’ve broke down this makeup tutorial in a few easy to follow steps to get you ready for the warm season ahead. I used a few new favourites from The Estée Edit* and Estée Lauder* that I’m very exited to share with you, so lets get started…

Start by applying a primer, I used The Estée Edit Beam Team Bronze, which is very hydrating and gives you that gorgeous Spring glow. You can use it by itself, under makeup or even mixed in with your foundation. I also love using it to give my skin a bit of colour when I’m looking a little pale, it’s a wonderful product!

Apply foundation/concealer to even out your complexion. I used a tiny bit of Estée Lauder Double Wear because it gives the perfect coverage and that beautiful airbrushed look, a little bit goes a long way. I applied it with my beauty blender because I love the smooth, flawless finish that it gives. It feels weightless on the skin and gives you that beautiful healthy glow, which is exactly what I want for Spring.

Next up is bronzer, start with the top of the forehead, the cheekbones, and along your jawline. I always do a figure of ‘3’ on either side of my face. I used The Estée Edit – The Barest Bronzer in Light/Medium, it creates a fresh-looking complexion and a radiant glow that lasts all day. This is one of my favourite bronzers at the moment, it glides so smoothly on the skin and looks very natural, I also love how much product you get in the pan, it’s gonna last me ages! 🙂

Smile and apply blusher to the top of your cheekbones, I used The Estée Edit – The Barest Blush (shade 04 Ember Glow) It’s a beautiful natural shade, it warms up the cheeks so nicely and gives that healthy glow from within. It has a gorgeous metallic overspray, that gives a hint of subtle golden shimmer.

I wanted to keep the eyes looking simple and fresh so I applied some bronzer to warm up my crease and then I used one of the new Estée Edit Fluid Metal Eyeshadows (shade ‘Got it bad’) just on the lids for a pop of champagne sparkle.

It’s a high-shine liquid eyeshadow with a glossy metallic finish. It’s very creamy and easy to apply, just pat on using the little applicator or your finger and let it dry to set. You can blend it while wet for a wash of translucent colour, which is what I did to make it look more natural.

I used Estée Lauder Sumptuous Knockout Mascara which is pretty amazing, it grabs and elongates your lashes, it also separates and curls them. It’s a super black formula that gives you beautiful bold lashes, but still looks natural, I absolutely love it!

Complete your look with a nude/neutral colored lipstick, I opted for The Estée Edit Mattified Lipstick in Sunday Vibe(02) I fell in love with the colour, it’s such a pretty nude, the perfect everyday shade for me. Although this is a matte formula this lipstick is creamy and really comfortable on the lips, not drying at all.

Do you like this look? What are your favourite spring makeup products/trends at the moment?
