Currently Loving / Spring Beauty Picks

Today I thought I’d talk about a couple of favourite Spring beauty products and as it happens they’re both from Clinique. I used to share my monthly favourites on a regular basis but I recently started a new series called ‘Currently Loving’ and I much prefer it, as I get to concentrate on one or a couple of products I’m currently enjoying and tell you a little bit more about them.

It’s no secret that I love a good mascara, so when I had a chance to try the Clinique High Impact Mascara* I was really exited, as I’ve heard so many great things about it. I love big, full lashes but sadly my natural ones are not that great so I always look for a mascara that makes all the difference and gives me that high impact!

So what I like about this mascara is the wand, it’s not too big or spikey, so I make much less mess when I apply it 🙂 especially on my bottom lashes. It’s also very buildable, so you can apply two or three coats without it getting clumpy. It’s lengthening and also separates my lashes really well.

This mascara also lasts very well without flaking and another thing I like about it is that it’s very easy to remove. It washes off pretty easy using micellar water but I’ve really been enjoying removing it with a balm cleanser which leads me to the next product I want to share with you.

Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm* is a lovely lightweight balm perfect for removing makeup, including waterproof mascara. What I like about it is that it’s unscented, which makes it perfect for sensitive skin. It transforms from a solid balm to a silky oil as you apply it onto the skin, it cleans my face so well without being greasy or drying. It doesn’t irritate my skin and leaves it very soft and smooth.

I love a good balm cleanser and this one is definitely one of my favourites, it’s so pampering and also really good if you suffer with any dry patches as it seems to really hydrate and balance out my skin.

Have you tried any of these products? What are you currently loving for Spring?

Thanks so much for reading,

Victoria xo
