The Spring/Summer 2019 fashion trends are nothing if not bright, bold and really quite beautiful, so today I will be going through some of my favourites with you. Starting with…
The suit is a wardrobe classic and I’m absolutely loving a bright two piece – skirts, shorts, trousers and jackets in bold, bright shades for that statement making look. I have two options for you in yellow and blue both by Julien Macdonald for Debenhams. (all items will be linked)
*Star by Julien Macdonald Yellow Tux Jacket – this jacket will make a vibrant update to your new season wardrobe. It’s fitted with two pockets and engraved silver-tone buttons. I’ve styled with the matching trousers for a statement finish *Star by Julien Macdonald Yellow Slim Fit Cropped Suit Trousers
I also love this suit in blue, and it’s a beautiful shade of blue – *Star by Julien Macdonald Bright Blue Tux Jacket it comes with matching trousers in slightly different fit than the yellow – *Star by Julien Macdonald Bright Blue Belted Wide Leg Trousers
I’ve paired up with this gorgeous little bag, also by Julien *Chain Trim ‘Nicole’ Mini Grab Bag
The animal print is back this season and I’m particularly loving the leopard and zebra. I have this gorgeous day dress here for you by Debenhams *Red Herring Multicoloured Leopard Print Cotton Dress which can be worn casual or a bit more dressy, paring it up with some statement ankle boots and a belt to cinch in the waist.
I love floral prints as they remind me of summer holidays, you just can’t go wrong with a nice floral top, flowy dress or this beautiful floral skirt by Red Herring *Multicoloured Floral Print Pleated Midi Skirt, it’s such a lovely vibrant print, I paired it up with a simple black button top *Red Herring Black Ribbed Lettuce Edge Button through Top worn with heels for a sophisticated feminine look.
You can’t go wrong with pastels for Spring/Summer. They are ladylike and sweet looking hues that can be incorporated with almost any colour. Believe me, this is a perfect choice for creating a lovely OOTD 🙂 This colour trend can be mixed and matched with other pastels, as well as neutral hues and even bold colours, (like I have done) I have put together a lovely casual outfit that consists of a pair of cropped jeans in red (*Red Herring Red Contrast Stitch Wide Legged Cropped Utility Jeans), pastel purple jumper (*Red Herring Light Purple Striped Sleeve Jumper) pastel pink sandals and a floral bag (*Fiorelli Floral Print Grab Bag)
What is your favourite trend for Spring/Summer? Or which of my five looks did you like the most?
Thanks so much for reading, I hope you’re having a lovely week,
