Happy Monday loves, I hope you all had a fabulous weekend!

Today I wanted to share how I created this super easy Fall inspired look using some new favourites from Sleek Makeup. I recently went to the launch of their new Lifeproof foundation and so many of you requested a review/first impressions so I thought why not create a full face, which is a great way of using some other new bits from Sleek that I have.

I love nudes, plums and golds for Autumn so those are mainly the colours I will be using in this pretty simple look I created for you. Starting with the base, I firstly applied Sleek Hydrating Primer* to event out my skin tone, it’s a lightweight non-greasy formula that is perfect for giving your skin that extra bit of moisture as this time of year the wind can be quite harsh and drying on the skin.

Following up with Sleek Lifeproof Foundation* (shade LP05) I really like the formula, it gives a medium to full coverage without looking cakey or feeling heavy, I like to apply it with the beauty blender for a more natural finish. This foundation really does perfect your skin, it feels comfortable on and I do like the finish, it’s more of a semi-matte, which I like. It’s sweat proof as well and I did not get much of a shine throughout the day when I wore it and that was a pretty long and busy day. I would say I wore it for about six hours and it lasted pretty well, so big thumbs up!

I didn’t have a bronzer from Sleek, so I just used my regular one which is Hoola by Benefit to add a subtle contour to my face and then my favourite part – the highlighter 🙂 I used Sleek Highlighting Palette* in Solstice, which is new to me and I absolutely love it. It comes in a beautiful gold compact and you get 4 shades (1 cream and 3 powders) I used the gold and champagne shade for this look. I applied some on my cheekbones, nose, brow bone and inner corner of the eye. I didn’t use any eyeshadow just highlighter and a bit of bronzer to warm up the crease. Quick and simple but still very pretty and autumnal.

Finish the eyes by applying a couple of coats of mascara and some falsies (optional) I used Ardell Demi Pixies* which I absolutely love at the moment. Blend the lashes with a bit of black liner and run a little eye brush on it to smudge it, it looks a lot more natural that way as I’m not very keen on the bold cat eye look for everyday.

For the brows I used Sleek Brow Intensity* which is a double-ended Brow Sculptor and highlighter. Comes with a little spolie to brush through the brows and fill in any gaps. I like it because it gives a more natural look, rather than the bold insta brow 🙂

Finish off by applying some lippie, I used Sleek Matte Me Ultra Smooth lip cream* in ‘Shabby Chic’ which is a gorgeous brown/plum shade perfect for Fall. I’m not normally too keen on the matte lip but I really like these as they are not too drying and also come off really easy, unlike some other matte liquid lipsticks that you have to literally scrub off your face.

So this is the finished look, what do you guys think? Have you tried Sleek makeup? You can check it out here they have such a wide range of amazing products at very affordable prices, I would highly, highly recommend the brand!

You are in luck today as I’m giving away all the products below and all you have to do is subscribe to my blog (by email) and comment with your social media handles so I can contact you if you win.

Have a lovely day and thanks so much for reading,

Autumn is here, which means it’s time for cozy sweaters, cute boots, and laid back hair looks. There’s just something about this season’s style that seems so effortless and free…

Simple messy waves will never be out of season. So effortless and pretty I really love this look and it has kind of become my signature hair look because it works well for everyday, work, school and even fancy occasions! So today I will be sharing with you how I achieve it and my all-time favourite electrical hair tools.

I swear by my ghd IV Styler and honestly I couldn’t be without it, but I have recently been using their new ghd Platinum Styler* which is actually a limited edition version (supporting breast cancer charities) and comes in this gorgeous pink blush shade. Perfect for straightening and curling my hair, it heats up super quickly and always delivers fantastic results. I’ve tried a lot of different straighteners in the past but ghd has always been by far the best brand I’ve ever used. I find using these always makes my style last longer than when I use anything else.

I’d normally wash and blow dry my hair using the ghd Air hairdryer* I wash my hair every two days and as it’s so long and thick, it can be a massive pain to dry. As I wash it so often I have always worried about the damage the heat of a hairdryer might do to my hair, but with the ghd dryer I don’t worry as much because it encourages moisture to be absorbed into the hair shaft, leaving my usually frazzled ends more glossy and hydrated. It’s a fab hairdryer and the sleek pink and black design is just gorgeous!

As I said this hairstyle is super easy to create so all I do is pick random pieces of hair and twist and wrap around the barrel to create an ‘S’ bend waves. Then I brush through to loosen the waves, I love using the ghd Paddle Brush* as it gently goes through the hair without and pulling or creating any static. I finish the style by setting with some hairspray, I also like to apply a tiny amount of hair oil to add a bit of shine and smooth out any split ends.

You can shop the limited edition ghd Pink Blush collection here and for every product sold ghd will make a donation to Breast Cancer Now in the UK, which is such an amazing cause!

What are your favourite hair tools and go-to hairstyles for Autumn?

Autumn is upon us and I can’t be more exited, as it is my favorite season of all, so today I created this super simple, yet pretty and sophisticated look that was autumn-inspired. Keep reading below to see all the products used and how I achieved this look!

I had so many requests on doing a simple classic smokey eye, that I thought why not write a step-by-step guide on how to create it. I used all Clarins* and I have to say I’m absolutely in love with the products. This is pretty much my first time using their makeup so I will be sharing my first impressions as I go thought the products with you.

Start by applying foundation/concealer to even out your complexion. I used the new Clarins Everlasting Compact foundation (shade 109 – wheat) because it lasts really well, gives a great matte coverage and pretty much perfects your skin, I applied it with the makeup sponge that it comes with because I love the smooth finish that it gives. This foundation also has spf 9 which is great, as it’s important to wear sun protection all year round.

Blend a blusher/bronzer underneath your cheekbones for a healthy glow, I didn’t have one by Clarins so I used Charlotte Tilbury Cheek To Chic Swish & Pop blusher in First Love which is very pretty and natural.

Dot some highlighter on your cheekbones, brow bone, the inner corner of your eyes, down the centre of your nose and on your cupids bow – to get that beautiful glow! I used the light shade from the Eye Palette as it gives a lovely pinky champagne highlight and looks very fresh and dewy.

Using the Eyeshadow Palette in ‘Forest’ apply shade 2 all over the lid, use shade 3 to add a bit of definition by applying it on the crease and blending out and up towards the brow bone. Apply the 4th shade in the outer V, upper and lower lash line and blend. Finish by adding the lightest shade (shade 1) to highlight the inner corner.

I love this little palette it has a beautiful selection of neutrals/forest green/greys and the quality of the shadows is really good, so creamy and easy to blend. And just look at the packaging – I absolutely adore it! Apply mascara/eyeliner to finish the eye look. I also applied some Eylure falsies for even more drama, but feel free to skip this step 🙂

My lipstick of choice was Clarins Joli Rouge in Litchi 755 and Roseberry lipliner to go with it. Such a gorgeous rosy/berry shade I absolutely love it. It’s lightweight on the lips and not drying at all beautiful satin finish, the pigmentation is also wonderful.

So there you have it – your perfect easy Smokey Eye look perfect for the Autumn season, in a few simple steps. Have you tried anything from Clarins? Their new Graphik Autumn collection is to die for! Tag me in your pictures if you decide to recreate this look.

Hello beauties,

today I have for you a skincare post, which has been quite highly requested. Being a beautician I always get lots of questions about skincare and a lot of my clients want to know what I would recommend for the different skin types. I have combination to oily skin  but occasionally I do suffer with dry patches and sensitivity, so in todays post I will be sharing some products that have been working really well for me helping me combat these problems.

I find once the summer is over and the weather changes my skin really craves moisture. As the days grow shorter, the temperatures drop, and the air becomes drier. Autumn is a time of transition, and the best autumn skin care routines will correct any summer damage that has occurred and prepare your skin for winter.

I’m sure you all know how much I love Clinique, they have some pretty amazing makeup but also skincare products and today I want to share with you some of my current favourites.

Starting with one of their recent launches – Clinique 2-in-1 Cleansing Micellar Gel + Makeup Remover* such a lovely gentle facial cleanser that removers makeup and dirt without leaving your skin feeling tight. My face is left looking fresh and smooth I just love it!

I like to do a double cleanse on days when I’m wearing slightly heavier makeup so the product that I’ve been loving for that is Clinique Take The Day Off Cleansing Balm* that I’ve spoke about many times on my instagram and a product I absolutely swear by!

It’s a lovely lightweight balm perfect for removing makeup, including waterproof mascara. What I like about it is that it’s unscented, which makes it perfect for sensitive skin. It transforms from a solid balm to a silky oil as you apply it onto the skin, it cleans my face so well without being greasy or drying.

It doesn’t irritate my skin and leaves it very soft and smooth. I love a good balm cleanser and this one is definitely one of my favourites, it’s so pampering and also really good if you suffer with any dry patches as it seems to really hydrate and balance out my skin.

I like using the Clinique Sonic System Purifying Cleansing Brush* with both of those cleansers which works really well, I’m so obsessed with this brush, it has replaced my Clarisonic! It’s gentle but very effective.

The next step to achieve beautiful bare skin is to seal it with a moisturizer. Pick a cream with the hydration level your skin needs daily, I’ve been using Clinique Smart SPF 15 Custom Repair Moisturiser* The one I have (there are 3 types available) is designed for Combination to Oily skin, it’s very hydrating and helps the skin retain moisture where it’s needed most, without being heavy or greasy. It also helps smooth the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles and contains UVA/UVB which is very important to use every day.

The eye cream I’m currently loving is Clinique Smart Custom Repair Eye Treatment* I’ve tried so many different eye creams but I have really noticed results with this one, it has improved the appearance of the little fine lines and creases under my eyes, it also helps with brightening those dark circles 🙂 I highly recommend!

I love using Clinique Total Moisture Extended Thirst Relief* as my night cream, it has a lovely light, comfortable cream/gel consistency that plumps the skin and gives hydration for a full 24 hours. It really helps to keep my skin supple, firm and plump, absolutely beautiful product!

So these are all the products I wanted to share with you today, have you tried any of them?

I hope you’re all having a fab weekend, Happy Sunday!
