Last week I was very kindly invited to attend Royal Ascot and I wanted to share with you guys my experience and style tips, as so many of you messaged and asked about my outfit details.

When it comes to an event as grand and downright glam as Royal Ascot you don’t want to be the one turned away for a #fashionfail, so today I will be sharing with you my Style Guide for the perfect race day outfit, including some useful hints and tips. I was lucky enough to be invited to attend the Queen Anne and Royal Encoluse for the first time which was a wonderful experience.

I love everything about Royal Ascot – the elegant dresses and stylish headwear, it’s the strict fashion rules that make this event the most spectacular of all! It’s such a great opportunity for us ladies to express our femininity and immerse ourselves fully in the beauty of our surroundings.

Debenhams have a beautiful selection of occasion dresses and headpieces which would be absolutely perfect for the races. I opted for this gorgeous floral print dress by Richard Quinn* from his exclusive collection which is absolutely stunning.

This dress has a very flattering A-line skirt with a bold rose print, it feels very comfortable and it’s the perfect midi length. It looks great teamed with high sandals (Moda in Pelle*) and a clutch bag (Amschella Sofia Noir*) for an elegant look.

In my opinion, it’s all about the headpiece! You can wear beautiful elegant dresses or suits at any formal event but hats – that’s something special! That’s what makes Ascot so amazing.

The headpiece I’m wearing is also from Debenhams by Debut this Flower Crown Fascinator* is the perfect piece to finish any special occasion ensemble. In sleek navy, the elegant design complimented my dress perfectly, I absolutely love it!

Did you attend Royal Ascot this year? Tweet or tag me your photos as I’d love to see your outfits 🙂

Happy Saturday guys, I hope you are all having a lovely weekend.

I have literally been so exited to share with you my recent trip to Milan with global tech brand Huawei – a brand I absolutely love and have been supporting for quite a while. We had an incredible time from start to finish and I’m so exited to tell you all about it…

I was picked up early on Thursday morning as Huawei had arranged an Addison Lee to collect me from my house, and take me to the airport where I was meeting the rest of the group. I had never traveled from London City Airport before, and was very pleasantly surprised how lovely and quiet it was, which made the journey stress free. Upon arrival we all met, checked in and had coffee together at the departures lounge before boarding.

We arrived in Milan in less than two hours, where a car was waiting to take us to our hotel. It was a glorious day and I was feeling very excited taking in the beautiful surroundings.

We were staying at Melia Milano, a beautiful modern 5 star hotel in a great location (only half an hour from the airport)

We sat down for breakfast, coffee and a little briefing on the itinerary for the day. Then handed the gorgeous new Huawei P30 Pro which, it would be fair to say I am utterly obsessed with. It has totally replaced my iPhone, with it’s many amazing features, and the quality of the photos it takes is just incredible (pretty much all the photos I’ve shared here, have been taken on it). This phone has risen my Instagram/selfie game to a whole new level! Here is a link if you want to read a bit more about the device, and its super cool features.

We checked into our rooms, and honestly they were just WOW! I did document and share the trip on my Instagram story and quite a few of you messaged to say how amazing the hotel looks…

After a quick outfit change and some photos, we headed to lunch. La Tradizionale, a lovely traditional Italian restaurant, was an excellent choice with absolutely delicious food, and some of the best wine I’ve tasted!

After lunch we headed to the much anticipated event venue for a quick briefing. It was all top secret and under embargo at this point, so we were permitted to take photos, but forbidden to share any on social media until later that evening.

So, the big reveal and the purpose behind our trip to Milan was to witness the launch of Fashion Flair – Huawei’s latest project/collaboration with fashion designer Anna Yang ANNAKIKI. It represents the next chapter of Huawei’s Humanly Possible story and the worlds first fashion collection co-created by Artificial Intelligence and human expertise. Amazing right! So we got to interview the designer and have some photos taken before going back to the hotel to freshen up and prepare for the event and dinner later on.

I was so exited by this point but also feeling a bit weary from all the traveling, but nothing a little power nap and more coffee couldn’t fix. Then it was time to get my glam on, ready for the party. With cars waiting to take us to the venue – superStudio+ which looked absolutely incredible, Huawei went all out (as per usual) there was a lot of press and international celebrities attending. We were greeted and taken to the VIP area for champagne and canapés and obviously more photos. The atmosphere was amazing and we all felt very exited for the show to start. No less than front row tickets, so we can capture some amazing photos and videos on the new Huawei P30 Pro unobstructed.

Huawei’s latest project has been absolutely incredible, using the power of AI to positively change the fashion industry, by developing the world’s first AI driven fashion collection. They have used artificial intelligence to provide a creative starting point for designers to bring in a new era of fashion design. And so Fashion Flair is the next chapter of Huawei’s Humanly Possible story.

Huawei trained a HUAWEI P30 Pro with tens of thousands of images from the most iconic fashion shows in the last 100 years, to create a Huawei Fashion Flair app. By setting basic parameters such as colour, shape, length and pattern within the app, designers can use the HUAWEI P30 Pro to generate an infinite number of dress designs that can be used as a source of inspiration to complete a garment.

To add the human element to their technology innovation, they partnered with creative mastermind Anna Yang, the Creative Director and founder of ANNAKIKI, to develop a 20 piece collection which was unveiled at this fashion show. To celebrate the first ‘Fashion Flair’ collection, Anna Yang chose to use the colour range of the HUAWEI P30 Series products, in combination with the outputs of the AI app. The four most significant garments in the collection reflects the shimmering colours of the latest Huawei products: Amber Sunrise, Breathing Crystal, Aurora and Black. The final outfits in the ANNAKIKI for Huawei collection are the expression of a strong personality, characterised by energetic vitality, femininity, self-confidence and determination.

It was an incredible show and I felt so grateful to have been able to experience it live here in Milan. Clean Bandit performed at the end of the show which was such a lovely surprise as I love the band. We all headed to the after party, to celebrate and have a few more cheeky glasses of champagne… before heading back to the hotel.

After just a few hours sleep it was time to get ready for breakfast, pack and head back to London. Thanks again for the most amazing 24 hours in Milan Huawei!

I really hope you guys enjoyed this post and if you have any questions at all just leave them in the comments below.

Thank you for reading, wishing you a wonderful day!

The Spring/Summer 2019 fashion trends are nothing if not bright, bold and really quite beautiful, so today I will be going through some of my favourites with you. Starting with…

Statement Tailoring

The suit is a wardrobe classic and I’m absolutely loving a bright two piece – skirts, shorts, trousers and jackets in bold, bright shades for that statement making look. I have two options for you in yellow and blue both by Julien Macdonald for Debenhams. (all items will be linked)

*Star by Julien Macdonald Yellow Tux Jacket – this jacket will make a vibrant update to your new season wardrobe. It’s fitted with two pockets and engraved silver-tone buttons. I’ve styled with the matching trousers for a statement finish *Star by Julien Macdonald Yellow Slim Fit Cropped Suit Trousers

I also love this suit in blue, and it’s a beautiful shade of blue – *Star by Julien Macdonald Bright Blue Tux Jacket it comes with matching trousers in slightly different fit than the yellow – *Star by Julien Macdonald Bright Blue Belted Wide Leg Trousers

I’ve paired up with this gorgeous little bag, also by Julien *Chain Trim ‘Nicole’ Mini Grab Bag

Bold Prints

The animal print is back this season and I’m particularly loving the leopard and zebra. I have this gorgeous day dress here for you by Debenhams *Red Herring Multicoloured Leopard Print Cotton Dress which can be worn casual or a bit more dressy, paring it up with some statement ankle boots and a belt to cinch in the waist.

Spring Florals

I love floral prints as they remind me of summer holidays, you just can’t go wrong with a nice floral top, flowy dress or this beautiful floral skirt by Red Herring *Multicoloured Floral Print Pleated Midi Skirt, it’s such a lovely vibrant print, I paired it up with a simple black button top *Red Herring Black Ribbed Lettuce Edge Button through Top worn with heels for a sophisticated feminine look.

Pretty Pastels

You can’t go wrong with pastels for Spring/Summer. They are ladylike and sweet looking hues that can be incorporated with almost any colour. Believe me, this is a perfect choice for creating a lovely OOTD 🙂 This colour trend can be mixed and matched with other pastels, as well as neutral hues and even bold colours, (like I have done) I have put together a lovely casual outfit that consists of a pair of cropped jeans in red (*Red Herring Red Contrast Stitch Wide Legged Cropped Utility Jeans), pastel purple jumper (*Red Herring Light Purple Striped Sleeve Jumper) pastel pink sandals and a floral bag (*Fiorelli Floral Print Grab Bag)

What is your favourite trend for Spring/Summer? Or which of my five looks did you like the most?

Thanks so much for reading, I hope you’re having a lovely week,

Happy Sunday loves,

I hope you’ve had a fab weekend.

Today I have a hair related post for you (as requested) I get questions about my hair all the time, the cut, colour, hairstyles etc… Being a beauty blogger I’m always changing up the products I use and also my hair looks, and although my hair is quite long occasionally I like wearing hair extensions for even more length and volume, so today I will be sharing with you my go to hair extensions.

I have tried many brands throughout the years but one of my favourites has to be Richy Hair. I have been wearing their hair for quite some time now. They offer a few different types of hair extensions including Tape-ins and Keratips, but the one I currently wear and absolutely love is their Hairflow hair piece*

Since I have highlights and a few different tones in my hair it’s so important to get the right shade and Richy Hair booked me in for an appointment and to colour match and fit the piece. Like most hair extension, they come in a varity of different lengths/grams. I believe my hairpiece is 20″ long but they do trim it as much as you want in order to blend in with your natural hair. Richy Hair use 100% human hair, so you can use heat tools on them, wash them and even colour them.

Richy Hairflow features a clear adjustable wire, that sits comfortably on your head (a bit like a hairband) and you just pull your own hair over to cover it/then style as you wish. It’s so comfortable to wear and so easy and fast to apply. It’s a great way to add more length and volume to your hair and I actually prefer it to my clip-in extensions.

Do you currently wear hair extensions? What is your favourite type? Have you tried Richy Hair? Leave your comments below 🙂

It’s the time of year to start thinking about those special party outfits especially since New Year’s is nearly upon us, so today I will be sharing with you one beautiful dress, absolutely perfect for the festive season.

The Stephanie Pratt Goddiva maxi dress in wine is perfect for anyone who just loves sparkle and glam. With its embellished pattern detailing, scattered gold sequins and its gentle scalloped hem, it looks so elegant and beautiful. This gorgeous floor length dress features a round neckline and V neck back.

I have to say I really like it and find it both easy to wear, and very eye-catching. It’s a great length for me, I’m 5ft9 and I can wear it with medium or high heels, I would say that it is pretty true to size, but check your measurements to be sure, I wear size 8 uk which fits perfectly.

What better way to attend a New Year’s party in style than to wear this show-stopping sparkly gown! It’s so beautiful and elegant it would also be perfect for a wedding or any special occasion. Available to purchase here.

Whatever your plans are for NYE I hope you have an amazing night!
