So guys, I have been absolutely dying to tell you that last Friday I went to a Beyonce & Jay Z concert, which was absolutely ah-mazing!
Myself and blogger babe Taislany were invited by the Debenhams PR team, they had organised a whole host of treatments for us before the big night.
We were invited to Debenhams Oxford Street store to pick our outfits. The personal stylist experience was absolutely brilliant. We had so much fun trying different things on, searching for the perfect Little Black Dress, it was actually so hard to choose as there were so many beautiful occasion dresses, and I’m so indecisive 🙂
I ended up picking a gorgeous knee length lace dress by Villa which I absolutely loved, it was perfect for the occasion, a very flattering fit and super comfy! See more LBD dresses here
We had our hair and makeup done at Blow LTD Beauty Bar (located within the Debenhams Oxford street store) which was so lovely, we both went for a neutral/bronze smokey eye and a red lip to keep it classic. For the hair – big loose waves with lots of volume, so glam!
Upon arrival at London Stadium we were greeted and taken to the VIP lounge where we had dinner and a few glasses of wine before the concert started. Beyonce and Jay Z were honestly absolutely incredible, they put such a fantastic show, we had so much fun dancing the night away! Debenhams really spoiled us with the whole experience – from the moment we got there to the very end!
Thanks so much again for having us, what a fabulous night!
Happy Tuesday beauties, I hope you are having a lovely week so far,
I recently went back to one of my favourite salons Live True London, Vauxhall so today I want to tell you all about my experience getting my hair done/refreshed, as I always get so many questions about my hair colour.
Maintaining my hair colour is so important to me, especially since I have a lot of blonde highlights that tend to go dull and brassy. My stylist Paco always knows what I want and how to make my hair look amazing!
He started by adding some natural highlights at the top section of my hair and blending it really nicely to achieve that gorgeous balayage look. He used Redken Professional and Olaplex, a treatment that protects and strengthens the hair during bleaching and colouring. I have had Olaplex done in the past and it honestly does wonders to my hair, it makes it really soft and healthy looking, as opposed to dry and brittle.
After my highlights had finished developing, it was time for a hair wash, Paco applied two different ash toners to neutralise all the brassiness, he then cut my hair to get rid of the dead ends and added a few layers to frame my face. I then had a blow dry and my hair curled/waved, I absolutely loved the finished result.
I would highly recommend Live True London if you are looking to experience a five-star hair treatment, my stylist Paco is absolutely brilliant, you can check out his work here.
So many of you have asked me hair related questions ever since I’ve had my hair highlighted, so hopefully I have managed to answer all of them, but if not please feel free to leave them below 🙂
Thanks so much for reading and have a lovely day,
A couple of weeks ago I visited Beauty and Melody Spa at the gorgeous M by Montcalm hotel in Shoreditch, for a relaxing day and some much needed ‘me time’
Upon arrival I was kindly greeted and taken on a little tour of the hotel and Spa, which was really lovely. I was then given a robe and flip flops and shown up to the changing rooms to get ready for my treatments.
My beauty therapist Adrianna showed me around the spa and all treatment rooms and made me feel very welcome. I had a glass of prosecco while having a manicure done, followed by a pedicure. Both treatments included shape and buff, cuticle work, hand/foot massage, cream and gel polish. I opted for french tips and I was so happy with the results, she did a fabulous job!
After my treatments had finished it was time to explore the spa, I decided to go for a little swim and then relax in the jacuzzi. It was so quiet and tranquil which is exactly what i needed. I had some refreshments at the relaxation area while enjoying the soothing music…
I also wanted to mention that all the staff at the spa were super lovely and helpful, they made me feel relaxed and very welcome. I can definitely see myself coming back here I had such a wonderful time. Beauty and Melody Spa have an extensive range of treatments on offer, from facials, body treatments, as well as hair services, nails and makeup also a range or aesthetics and laser treatments.

Happy Wednesday my loves, I hope you’re having a lovely day,
A couple of weeks ago I was kindly invited to a super fun Benefit Cosmetics party for a very exiting (secret) new launch!
Upon arrival we were all welcomed by a squad of pink astronauts and walked the pink carpet (yes pink!) to the ultimate space-themed out of this world venue, to exclusively prepare for lift-off!! It was all going to be revealed at 7pm and with countdown timer set, I couldn’t be more exited.
Benefit always go ‘all out’ as I know you would agree, if you have ever been to one of their events.
I grabbed a space themed cocktail and joined my blogger besties to as the final countdown began… 3 – 2 – 1 lift off!! It was such an amazing atmosphere with UV lighting and smoke everywhere as the most incredible spacecraft descended onto the stage against a glowing galactic backdrop, and we were all introduced to the fabulous new launch – BADgal BANG! mascara.
Then off to the space pods to try the new mascara, and ‘WOW’ it did not disappoint! It gives so much length and volume, it reminds me of ‘They’re real’ but it is actually better in my opinion. One coat is enough as it’s quite a wet formula and super black, which I love.
- 36 hours of volume, without weighing down lashes
- Gravity-defying formula includes aero-particles, which is one of the lightest raw materials known to man (derived from space technology) allowing a buildable formula without weigh-down
- Price: RRP £21.50
- Available here
Thanks again for a fabulous evening Benefit Cosmetics, you sure know how to throw a PARTY! Dreams do come true… (of becoming a pink astronaut 🙂
Thanks so much for reading,
Since having my hair highlighted I’m always on the hunt for a good shampoo and conditioner to keep it hydrated and add a bit of shine. I have recently really been enjoying the Redken Diamond Oil Glow range* it smells delicious and contains some really lovely ingredients, which help condition and hydrate your hair. All the products in the range are perferfect for giving you that lightweight shine and great to use before a blow dry.
I have been using the shampoo and detangling conditioner, it’s very gentle and perfect for fine blonde hair and detangles and conditions really well.
Another product as part of the same range is Redken Diamond Oil Glow Dry Shine Oil* The packaging of the whole range is absolutely gorgeous but especially this blow dry oil, it comes in a pink glass diamond bottle it’s so beautiful! It smells divine and I love using it on the ends of my hair to add that extra bit of shine and hydration.
I’ve also recently been using the new Redken Clean Maniac Micellar Clean-touch Shampoo* which is perfect for deep cleansing your hair/scalp especially if you exercise a lot like me (and get sweaty hair 🙂 it gets rid of product buildup in your roots and it’s great if you use many styling products such as hairspray or dry shampoo etc.
Last but not least I have a deep conditioning hair mask from Purology that I absolutely love. I have heard such great things about the brand but I haven’t actually tried that much from them. It’s the Purology Superfood Hydrate treatment* with avocado and coconut oil. This honestly is one of the best hair masks I have ever used, it smells lovely and makes my hair so super soft, it’s perfect if you have dry, bleached hair, it honestly is a Godsent.
I absolutely love these products and they really have made such a difference to my hair. I’d love to know what’s your current hair care routine and your go-to pamper products? Any recommendations?
Have a wonderful week loves,
Thanks for reading, Victoria xo
