From the best nightclubs to more intimate venues, if clubbing is one of your favourite things to do, London has a great range of night spots to offer, and in my upcoming posts I will be sharing some of my top picks, starting with one of my faves.
Mahiki is a Polynesian cocktail lovers paradise in central London offering a selection of fabulous, both classic and unique cocktails for one or to share. Set over two floors the club has a quirky Tiki bar style filled with tropical creations – colourful Hawaiian cushions, hand-carved tiki figures, seashell lamps and tropical plants, all amplifying the illusion of having arrived at a tropical island. It really makes me feel like I am on a holiday, even for just a few hours! It’s the ultimate destination for the cocktail lover, as well as for dinner, dancing or any special occasion.
The atmosphere is fun and party-like from the entrance itself – decked up tastefully in vibrant colors, Mahiki looks like a Tiki paradise. The gorgeous bar, the spacious dance floor, the lovely dining space, the amazing music and the live DJ are just some of the things I love about it. In the last few years Mahiki has opened its doors to some A-list celebrities including Jay-Z, Beyoncé, Kate Moss, Rihanna, Paris Hilton and many more.
Their cocktails go beyond comparison in flavour and presentation, one of my faves is Pina Colada, which comes served in a whole pineapple and is absolutely delicious!
Unlike other clubs Mahiki has a no-hassle door policy and warm, friendly atmosphere, which makes it the perfect fun night out with friends. The music is typically a party mix with the latest chart hits and some classics and R&B thrown in. The mix of tunes really reminds me of the days when I used to DJ back a few years ago, some good party rockin 🙂
So if you are a cocktail lover looking for something different, I would highly recommend visiting Mahiki, it’s like a little Treasure Island in the heart of Mayfair, and I can guarantee you’d love it!
Thanks again for having us Mahiki, I literally can’t wait to come back!
I hope you’re all having a fab weekend, thanks so much for reading!
