Happy Friday my lovelies,

Today I will be sharing with you Clinique’s brand new limited-edition beauty collection in collaboration with interior designer Jonathan Adler.

This beautiful collection includes a few of Clinique’s best-selling makeup products – a cleansing brush, makeup brushes, lipsticks, eye shadows and blushes in a gorgeous limited-edition geometric print. I’m so in love with the colours, they’re just so bright, vibrant and happy, absolutely perfect for summer.

I really appreciate beautiful packaging, I love the art-deco style of this collection, the colours and designs, it was an absolute joy to photograph and so instagrammable!

I adore Jonathan Adler’s designs, I had a brief look around his Notting Hill store at the launch event and I fell in love with his work, I literally wanted everything for my house – home decor goals! 🙂

The designer was inspired by ‘jet-set glamour’ and wanted the collection to reflect the luxury and beauty of different iconic summer destinations and some of his favourite travel spots, including Capri, Palm Beach and Santorini.

Such a beautiful and unique collection, very chic and classic and here are some of the products including swatches.

Clinique + Jonathan Adler Sonic System Purifying Cleansing Brush* (RRP £79) comes in a limited-edition geometric pattern version with a matching travel case and a Foaming Facial Cleanser. I’m so obsessed with this brush, it has replaced my Clarisonic, it’s so good.

Clinique + Jonathan Adler Luxe Brush Collection* (RRP £45) features four gorgeous limited-edition pink brushes in a lovely fuchsia travel kit with the same geometric-print design. These brushes are so good and absolutely perfect for travelling, including a Powder brush, Blush brush and two Eyeshadow brushes.

Clinique + Jonathan Adler Lip Pop* (RRP £16.50) – these absolutely beautiful lipsticks were inspired by the designer’s Globo Collection (colourful domes of acrylic and brass) Each lipstick features a gem-like acrylic cabochon atop the cap and Jonathan’s signature geometric pattern around the tube. These are available in 12 shades and I have four to show you.

Clinique + Jonathan Adler Lid Pop and Cheek Pop* (Rap £15.50) are inspired by French gardens and feature that gorgeous limited-edition geometric pattern on the lids and also imprinted into the powder, which is such a unique touch. The shades that I have are so pretty and perfect for summer.

So what do you think of this collection? Do you love it as much as I do? I can’t wait to take some of the products to Barcelona with me next week – a definite beach bag essential!

This collection is now available at Clinique and nationwide from 18th August.

Thanks so much for reading,

I’m so exited to share with you today the gorgeous new Limited Edition Lancôme Blush Subtil Crème*

There are three shades available in the collection, all so pretty and absolutely perfect for Summer! They have a cream to powder consistency and give a gorgeous glowy finish.

Lancôme Blush Subtil Créme has such a unique formula. It’s silky soft and so easy to blend – an absolute dream to work with! And can we just look at the packaging – it’s so so cute, they actually remind me of little macaroons 🙂

The shades are perfect for summer I just love the beautiful dewy glow they give to my cheeks and look so natural. I’ve been hearing all about a new trend called ‘Draping’ which is actually really easy to achieve and all you have to do is replace your bronzer and contour with a blush instead to give your face a more natural, sculpted glow.
Use a combination of darker and lighter pink shades to bring out the natural ‘drape’ of the face. I may film a quick Instagram tutorial on this soon to show you the technique I use.

Have you tried the new Lancôme Blush Subtil Crème? Would you try the new ‘Draping’ trend?

Happy Saturday loves! Today I have for you a luxury product review that I have been very exited to share. Lancome recently launched a couple of new products, including the Ultra Cushion Foundation and Cushion Blush. Keep on reading to find out more.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

Lancome Teint Idole Ultra Cushion Foundation* offers what a lot of us are looking for right now – high coverage formulation in a lightweight texture. It is rich in micro-pigments which work in a way of blurring imperfections to give the skin a flawless finish. I have been using it for a little while and I’ve noticed my skin looking much smoother, it gives such a beautiful finish.

Not many foundations have anti-ageing benefits and such high UV protection (spf 50) and still feel light on the skin as this product. It has a smooth, creamy texture but it still gives medium to full coverage without looking heavy or cakey, it’s also pretty long lasting. It gives a semi-matte finish, great for oily/combination skin types like mine.
The Lancome Ultra Cushion is a liquid foundation packaged in an absorbent cushion. The compact is absolutely gorgeous – a beautiful gold and black finish with two compartments. The actual foundation cartridge comes separately, with the cartridge sealed in its own bag to keep it fresh, you could also buy refills and top it up when you run out.

The sponge applicator is slightly different to your average cushion foundation sponge, it has a velvety finish that really helps blend and buff out the product. The cushion used to hold the foundation is also quite unique, it is made of a special fibre with fine, mesh-like filter sheet. I have the shade 02 ‘Beige Rose’ it is a light beige with a neutral undertone.

Lancome Cushion Blush Subtil* is the first cushion blush that I’ve ever tried as there are not many brands that make these. The compact is very similar to the foundation, it comes with its own little sponge but I tend to use my beauty blender to tap it on, you only need a tiny bit as these blushes are super pigmented.

I love the formula of these blushes it’s a lightweight fluid consistency that has a creamy texture which glides on so easily without being patchy. It’s a hydrating formula that would be perfect for normal to dry skin, I have oily skin and it still works for me although I’ve always gravitated towards powder formulas.

It gives a dewy finish, the formula is pretty easy to work with, just be careful not to apply too much as it is very pigmented. The shade I have is 024 ‘Sparkling Framboise’ it looks really bright in the pan but when you apply it on the cheeks it gives a natural flush just make sure you blend it in really well.

Models Own have recently brought out a brand new Makeup Range which is just beautiful for summer -so many lovely bright shades, bold pigments and a vast range of colours so today I’m going to preview it and give you my first impressions on some of these products.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

First let’s take a look at the packaging – it’s bright and colourful, kind of ombre design with lovely pastel shades, really creative and fun. It makes me so happy just looking at the packaging 🙂 The collection itself is pretty fab, I like the white and silver packaging of the products, it makes them so much more instagramable and nice to display on your dressing table.

I received a little selection of products and I want to share with you some of my favourite starting with the Sweet Dreams Eyeshadow palette* (£14.99), the packaging is super cute, it has a lot of bright and pastel shades and I was pretty impressed after swatching them on my hand as they are very soft and blendible and pretty pigmented too! Some of the shades are wearable, some are quite bold but I like experimenting with colour especially with Summer around the corner. I’ve got Glastonbury Festival coming up in a few weeks and this palette would be perfect for that. Be sure to subscribe to my YouTube channel if you’re interested to see what makeup I take to Glastonbury, my festival beauty essentials and daily vlogging. I’m looking forward to try something new that’s a little bit out of my comfort zone.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAModels own swatchesAnother product I’m very exited to share with you is the Lip Gunk Lip Paint kit* (£10.99) I have two shades 06 Fusion (metallic blue/purple) and 08 Wild (glossy red), they actually remind me of the OCC Lip Tars, which also come with a little lip brush and mixing tray. These are really pigmented, which is amazing but you do have to be careful not to make a mess, although I’m sure you’re not as messy as me when it comes to applying/swatching liquid lip products hehe 😉

You could also mix these and experiment making different shades which is really cool. I believe there are three different formulas – glossy, matte and metallic I really like the purple metallic I think it would be perfect for my festival look.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAThey have a selection of Luxestick Lipsticks* I have the shade 19 Plush Peony which is really pigmented and I quite like a bold hot pink, I’d describe the finish as semi-matte. It comes in a nice squire silver packaging with a magnetic closure. I’m looking forward to seeing the full range of shades in the collection.

I have some of their face products – the Sculpt & Glow Liquid Highlighter* (£9.99) Sculpt & Glow Matte Bronzer* (£8.99) Rock ‘n’ Rosy Blusher stick (£6.99) The highlighter is lovely I have the shade 02 Rose Gold, I like to mix it with my foundation for a dewy luminous finish and also dab some on top of my cheekbones, nose, cupids bow and brow bone for a subtle highlight. The bronzer is a little bit dark for me at the moment I have 02 Deep Tan, but when I self tan it should be a better match. I like its texture, it’s matte finish and quite a neutral tone. The Blusher Stick is perfect for on-the-go, you don’t need a brush, just dab it on and blend with your fingers. I have a lovely shade – Peach Pop

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

I also like the Now Brow Eyebrow Pencil and Blender* (£7.99) which is double ended – the pencil side is retractable and you can use it to fill in any gaps or just to shape and define, on the other end there is a sponge style applicator, which has brow powder to give your brows a nice colour boost. Great product and super easy to use.

There’s a selection of I-Definer Kohl Pencil Eyeliners* (£5.99) in lots of different shades as well as I-Definer Kajal Kohl Liners* (£7.99) both creamy and pigmented, I don’t really use eyeliners all that much these days but I do like these and I’m curious to see what other colours they have in the collection.

So what do you think of the new Models Own makeup range? What’s your favourite product?

I was recently invited to the launch party of Sleek’s brand new Whimsical Wonderland Makeup Collection, which is absolutely gorgeous and I’m really exited to share with you today. If you are anything like me, then you would love the super pretty packaging, beautiful pastel shades and candy colours of this collection. It includes a Limited Edition ‘All The Fun of the Fair’ i-Divine eyeshadow palette, 3 Sweet Cheeks Gel blushes and 3 brand new shades of the Lip VIPs

This collection was inspired by fairground rides, candy floss and all things pastel and pretty 🙂 I love experimenting with colour especially for summer, with so many music festivals coming up this range will be the perfect way to get creative and try a new, vibrant look.

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERASleek Party

Starting with the i-Divine Mineral based eyeshadow palette in ‘All the Fun of the Fair'(£7.99) it comes with 12 pretty pastel shades (6 shimmers and 6 mattes) including nude, peach, yellow, blue, lilac and many more, which will be perfect for creating a really fun colourful look. The shadows are very creamy and pigmented and although they’re colourful, they’re not bright or neon and there are plenty of really wearable shades. I’m definitely planning to film a makeup tutorial using this palette and probably the whole range as I think it would be perfect for a festival look. I’m going to Glastonbury at the end of June and this would be the perfect palette to take 🙂

Sleek Whimsical Wonderland 6.jpgOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERANext we have three brand new lipstick shades from the Lip VIP collection, which I love and have reviewed previously on my blog here. The shades are ‘Big Shot’ (purple-lilac) ‘Hot Tottie’ (pinky-coral) and ‘Fancy Pants’ (peachy-orange) all of them are really wearable and beautiful.(£5.50 each) I really like the formula of these lipsticks, they are semi-matte, really opaque, creamy and moisturising. They don’t dry out my lips at all, hey contain some lovely ingredients including Shea Butter, Coconut Oil and Vitamin E. I like the full coverage these lipsticks give and also how long they last on my lips so definitely another festival beauty essential 🙂

OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA

There are three Limited Edition Sweet Cheeks Gel blushes (£5.99 each) in ‘Tomfoolery’ (pinky-purple) ‘Hullabaloo’ (pinky-coral) and ‘Lickety-Split’ (peachy-orange) they come in a really cute packaging and I love their formula. They look really bold but actually when you swatch them they are pretty sheer and very wearable. They’re water based with gel formula and easy to apply, just dab some on your cheeks and blend with your fingers. They look natural and would be perfect for summer, they smell really yummy too!
