Learn how to look naturally sun-kissed with my easy step-by-step Summer Glow makeup tutorial using a few of my favourite products from Rimmel London*

This is such an easy look and it literally only took me 10 mins to do. Start by applying a light foundation to even out your skin tone. I used a bit of moisturiser and then applied a little concealer under my eyes on my nose and forehead and blended. I used the light shade from the new Rimmel #Insta Conceal & Contour Palette*

Create a natural brow by lightly filling in your brows with Rimmel Brow This Way Brow Powder* and brushing through with a spoolie for a softer look.
Using Rimmel Radiance Brick Multi-Tonal Shimmer Powder* which I’m currently obsessed with, apply on the eyelids and blend, then use the champagne highlighter to highlight the inner corner of the eyes, brow bone and cupids bow. This look is all about the glow so feel free to apply a little extra 🙂

I’ve been loving the Rimmel Scandaleyes Reloaded Mascara* it’s perfect for giving length and volume it’s super black as well so go ahead and apply a couple of coats.

Use the new #Insta Duo Contour Stick* to slightly enhance your features (nose, cheekbones) and follow up with the bronzer from the palette (Coral Glow) I like to apply it where the sun would naturally hit for a realistic sun-kissed glow. Sweep bronzer over the tops of your cheeks, nose, forehead and chin. Now go over the same areas with the Radiance Brick Shimmer Powder to get that lit-from-within look.

I wanted to keep this look simple and natural so I opted for this nude lippie in Boho Nude* and topped it up with clear gloss. Then I set everything with Rimmel #Insta Fix & Go Setting Spray*

Finish by applying a layer of Rimmel Sunshimmer Instant Tan* on your chest and arms for a gorgeous summer glow. You can also use it on your face and it actually looks really lovely and natural.

And there you have it! This look is so quick and easy and absolutely perfect for summer. What are you currently loving from Rimmel London?

As the holiday season approaches, it’s time to start thinking of the all-important essentials you’ll need for your travels and today I want to share with you some of my top picks including beauty and fashion.

I’ve been loving Sunkissed Gradual Tan* to build up my colour and give me that beautiful healthy looking glow. It’s very creamy and hydrating it contains Shea Butter and Vitamin E which leaves my skin soft, smooth and smelling lovely. I also like their Self-Tan Mousse* which gives a gorgeous instant bronze tan and I love its delicious coconut scent. It’s easy and quick to apply I always use a tanning mitt for an even coverage, it absorbs quickly and it’s non-drying as it contains Aloe Vera which helps hydrate the skin.

Finish off your holiday glow with Sunkissed Glimmer Compact* It comes with five shimmery shades which are perfect to create a soft, warm highlight when applied to the apples of your cheeks and forehead. Also you can use each individual shade as an eyeshadow and even apply on your chest/decolletage for that bronzed glow. It’s a multipurpose products which makes it perfect for holiday.

SPF is another holiday essential and I really love Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration Sun Lotion spf 30* It not only smells delicious but feels amazing on the skin without being greasy or sticky. I’ve tried so many sun creams but this one is definitely a favourite that I always go back to. I have also been using their Exotic Breeze Fragrance Mist* – Juicy Mango and Golden Amber scent it smells so good it’s like a holiday in a bottle!

I like to wear bright lippies in summer and I always gravitate towards coral/orange shades for holiday. This Mavala Orange Smoothie Lipstick* is so so pretty and perfect for summer. It’s a smooth, creamy formula that doesn’t dry out your lips and feels very comfortable on.

Mavala also do the cutest little nail polishes perfect to take on holiday with you and top up your mani/pedi. There are so many gorgeous shades in the new Summer collection, my top picks are Pink City, Blue Mountains and Purple Beach. They’re glossy and long wearing which makes them perfect for holiday.

And lastly a couple of fashion favourites I have this gorgeous swimsuit from Freya, I absolutely love the cool geometric print (Tropicool*) it features a bandeau bikini top and lightly padded foam cups for a rounded shape and additional support, C to FF cup which makes it perfect for the curvy girls. It’s such a flattering fit, it’s very pretty and comfortable.

You can’t go on holiday without a pair of sunnies and I have this super cool aviator style ones from Iolla – The Lennox Sun* the glasses feature a chrome silver frame with blue mirror lenses, they also include polarised UV tint & back surface anti-glare coating. They’re such a great quality and lovely design.

Summer is just around the corner so I’m really exited to share with you a few of my favourite picks from Clarins new Sunkissed Summer Collection*

I’m just loving the summer vibes this collection brings, from palm tree prints to beautiful bright sunny shades – the packaging just screams holiday!

Starting with my most favourite product – the Bronzing & Blush Compact which is just so beautiful! Such flattering shades of matte bronzer and iridescent coral blush, it warms up the complexion and gives a healthy natural glow. The actual formula contains an anti-pollution complex that includes white tea and nipplewort extracts, and also the powder provides a defence against moisture loss which is pretty amazing right?!

It’s such a large size that would last forever, you can also use it on your body and dĂ©colletage area for a hint of radiant glow.

There are two Waterproof Eye Pencils in Gold and Copper, included in the collection. They’re so creamy and easy to use not to mention how super opaque and long lasting they are! They’re very easy to blend using your fingers and look so pretty slightly smudged on the eyelids.

Launching alongside this collection are the new Instant Light Lip Comfort Oils, which I’m absolutely obsessed with. They’re so nourishing and lovely on the lips, I’ve been wearing them pretty much every day. They’re not greasy or sticky and give a little bit of a glossy colour to the lips which I love. I’m wearing shade 04 Candy in the photo below.

With a blend of hazelnut, mira belle and jojoba oils, these new lip oils are absolutely delicious and perfect to wear everyday. They will also be great to take on holiday with you – the perfect beach bag essential. My lips have been very dry and chapped lately and these lippies have made all the difference!

I also really like the Mint shade which offers an instant plumping effect thanks to the ingredient of menthol, it smells absolutely yummy too!

What do you think of this collection? What is your favourite product?

I’ve been self-tanning for quite some time now, for me it’s like an evening ritual that I like to do every couple of weeks and I really enjoy it 🙂 I have tried many different products and methods throughout the years but I still really like discovering new things and today I have a couple of new favourites that I want to share with you.

I like to have a good scrub the day before I tan to get rid of any dead skin and prepare for tanning, I currently love using the Buddy Scrub* which is an all natural, cruelty free and vegan friendly body scrub, made in Australia, great for exfoliating and nourishing your skin. There are a few different scents available online, the one I have is Raw Cacao scrub which smells absolutely yummy. I use it in the shower as it can be quite messy. I would wet my skin, apply the scrub and work it in a circular motion, leave on the skin to absorb for 5-10 mins then rinse off.

The process of massaging the scrub in is quite therapeutic and relaxing, it really does smell good enough to eat 🙂 If you have sensitive skin like me I would advise not to press/scrub too hard as this is a proper (scrubby) scrub and it can irritate a little, the first time I used it I over scrubbed my chest and my skin a little red and sore. You can use it on your face but to be honest I would not recommend for sensitive skin.

My skin always feels exceptionally smooth after using it. I’d normally use it 1 – 2 times a week. It comes in a cute packaging with a very handy resealable pouch, so I would highly recommend it if you are on the hunt for a really good scrub, it costs ÂŁ15.00 and available to order here.

A self tanner that I’ve recently been enjoying is the St.Tropez In Shower Gradual Tan* which is very easy and simple to use and works pretty well. I’d pop under the shower and cleanse the skin as normal, then step out and apply the product all over the body in the same way you would apply any self tanner or body lotion. I personally like to wear gloves just in case it stains my palms, you could also use a tanning mitt.  I’d normally leave it on for about 5 – 10 mins and then hop back in the shower and rinse off (just using water) pat dry and dress as normal, I would avoid wearing tight fitting clothes, also do not moisturise until the next day as you need to let the tan develop.

In my opinion St.Tropez In Shower Gradual Tan does have a typical self tan scent – a little floral to begin with and then while developing it does somewhat have that almost biscuit like fragrance. As I mentioned earlier, this is a gradual tanner which means that the results are not going to be instant and may take a few applications to get the desired colour. It took me about three days of continuous application before I noticed a tan developing, it looked really natural though not dark or orange at all. Obviously if you want an instant tan I would recommend using the St.Tropez 1 Hour Tan Mousse and you could still use the in shower tan to maintain your colour.

At ÂŁ14.50 this is not the cheapest gradual tanner out there but I do love my St.Tropez and I swear by their products. It’s available to purchase from Superdrug here.

I also wanted to mention that St.Tropez has announced a one year partnership with Marie Curie Charity, which is amazing and from 1st June 2016 – 31st May 2017, 25p from the sale of every St.Tropez Gradual Tan In Shower Tanning Lotion with the Marie Curie logo instore and online at Superdrug will be donated to Marie Curie. The money raised will help Marie Curie provide vital care and support to people living with a terminal illness and their families, to help them make the most of the time they have together. Marie Curie Nurses deliver expert hands-on care and emotional support night and day, in people’s homes and at the charity’s nine hospices across the UK.

Have a great evening, Victoria xo

Today I have for you the Garnier Ambre Solaire BB Body Bronzer* which I’ve really been enjoying recently. I believe it’s a fairly new product, you can find it at Superdrug (ÂŁ7.99 for 150ml) It has the benefits of a BB cream to soften and hydrate your skin, whilst blurring imperfections and evening skin tone.

This is very easy to apply, just like a regular moisturiser, it looks a little orange when you first apply it, so keep blending and it will look much more natural, I found it spreads out and blends really well. Coverage wise I would say is medium and a little amount goes a long way. It dries pretty fast but you still have time to work with it and really blend it in. It is buildable as well so if you need more coverage you can apply two layers.

It really reminds me of the Sally Hanson Airbrush Legs (the lotion version) it really does even out my skin tone and blurs any imperfections, marks or bruises. It doesn’t dry out my skin and lasts good 24 hours, as I did wear it at Glastonbury and it did last pretty well without transferring on my clothes. I’ve used it about 3 times now, which barely made a dent so you get a lot of product for your money. When it came to washing it off I just used some soap and it came off pretty easy.

So yes I really like this product and I would recommend it if you are on the lookout for a good instant bronzer. What body bronzers are you currently loving?
